Do you guys think Simmons will be a better shooter than Richaun Holmes?

Who knows. I know he's going to struggle shooting from the outside next season. I just hope he improves like Kawhi did. I think he may shoot about 29% from 3 if that. Hopefully by his 3rd season playing he gets it to around 37-38%.

Any update on Simmons foot and if he requires a second surgery? There has been no talk on this whatsoever which is extremely concerning

A summer and a whole NBA season to work on your form and this is the result.

Still shooting with his offhand, elbow just as far out as it was at LSU and his elbow/wrist extension still seems weird.

John Townsend was hired last summer as the new Sixers shooting coach and guess what his former employer was? Toronto Raptors, they hired him in 2011 and you know who the GM was at that time.

That's what I've been saying at the grades thread. It's very petty I know.

Anyone know why he was in full uniform?

He never needed a 2nd surgery. He could've and should've been playing 2 months ago.

This whole thing with Simmons sitting has been a scam since they decided to tank the remainder of the season.

Good question. Maybe some promotional photoshoots or something before the game and he just decided to keep it on.

Thanks for posting that. Yeah, O'Connor really breaks down how Simmons is potentially a great fit for Brown's, uptempo, motion offense.

Just being the facilitator that he is with the size, length and speed combo he has plus his ability to handle the ball will make the Sixers so much better in transition and within their motion offense.

Brett Brown wants to push the tempo and Simmons will give him an Antetokounmpo-like facilitator to do that efficectively.

If the Sixers could get Fultz, a lineup of Fultz, TLC, Covington, Simmons and Embiid could really be impressive.

Evidence #3467289: Simmons is a natural righty.

Would be fitting if he is fully healed when we wrap up the season. Oh well.
