we don't have cap space and nobody trade for our average players. so we are stuck.
svg should have gone after Ibaka last season. even this mid season.
patrick paterson is unrestricted. he would be good either.

he should buy out reggie. enough is enough. then he could go after lowry or holiday.
he can go after gallinari who is good shooter, scorer and defender. denver has other talents to spend.

don't overpay any shoting guard. there is a few great sg, after that they all pretty much same. you can find that talents in second round. pay simmons or kilpatrick and wait until you can find something special. draft a shooting guard for example.

holiday
simmons or kilpatrick
gallinari
patterson
drummod

would be good balance team. galinari and holiday would be ball handler, each one of except drummod is good defender. 3 or 4 of them (simmons was good last year but bad this year) good shoters. holidar is good p&r pg and can score.

Even though that's a realistic line up it still is a Lotto team IMO

Paying KCP means our shooting guard isn't a good shooter. Average maybe, but hes streaky, which means at least 2-3 out of 10 nights, he shoots 3-15. That's a loss.

Who else are the shooters?

How about not building around Drummond? I like that option much more than the alternative.

Nothing wrong with dealing Dre as long as we get a good enough return.

IMO:

Ish, KCP, SJ, Tobias, King are the guys I would keep on roster

Leaves a lot of spots to fill with the right players

I'm probably in this camp simply because Dre and Reggie's trade value is so low. We'd be better off seeing how they do next season.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
