can we get 8 more wins? doubt it. but it would be a good goal.

especially since there's money on the line here

Next two games are important. We should win against IT-less Celtics tomorrow and then Mavs at home.

Celtics are much better then us even without IT. likely a loss. Mavs is winnable for sure, but again, we are hte udnerdog everytime we take the court

Obviously don't want to see Lin out ever again.

But as this team is currently constructed with the young backups - though improved - could and probably would go back to being a 70 loss team were Lin to be out again.

Not trolling - serious.

And I maintain there probably aren't 7 starting Point Guards (much less backup PGs) in the league that could and would have had the nerve, character and ability to take the reins of the Undisputed-Worst-Team-in-the-NBA, sitting on a 10-49 record and engineered 8 additional wins to date.

The Nets win as a team, and damn sure we lose as a team. This isn't all about one guy. And then is it a wonder why Jagger and Prok go off on people in other threads?

Come on. We are a TEAM. Not a one man boy band. It's stuff like this that really irritates people. Lin has been a MASSIVE help and thank goodness he's back. But to act like his teammates have nothing to do with anything that has led to these wins of late is awful.

You want to talk about double standard? Let's talk about double standard.

What happened from the time of the YES vote to the point to acquiesance that this team is no longer going to be the WORST Team the Nets have ever fielded?

How could those who voted YES have so misjudged the "improvement" in the least talented team in the league?

Numbers dont lie, the nets are obviously better with Lin than without. So ignore trolls who blame Marks for our 60 loss season while simultaneously trying to silence anybody who says Lin has a positive impact on the team. Logic like that clearly doesn't add up.
