I was all aboard the give henny 1 more season boat, but if this is real and his board then he needs to go. Those players are horrible and the incompetence to allow this picture to be taken is too. I have a feeling this might be fake though.

I laughed at that... There is no way in hell Sixers do that deal...
But I think its fake... If its real that's pretty damn sad...

Aaron Gordon is a better player than Saric and also younger. Saric fits with Simmons better though

Saric was carrying the Sixers to victories after Embiid went down. AG is definitely not as good as him...

Saric has like the worst offensive rating on his team and his team is better with him off the floor. All of his advanced stats are poor but he puts up good counting stats so people act like he's good. He's a putrid defender as well. For Gordon it's quite the opposite

You clearly haven't watched the games he's played in the last 2 months... Even the game against Orlando where he fouled out he had a MASSIVE effect on the game that AG clearly doesn't have.

Oh I have, which is why I think it's funny that people here overrate him. He has a negative impact on the game right now and the stats agree with me. He has terrible advanced stats. We have guys on here who will call Payton MCW and say his numbers don't matter while putting Saric on a pedestal. If anyone is MCW, it's Saric. Good counting stats but not much impact on the game.

Just see for yourself. Gordon has far better advanced stats and actually makes him team better, Saric does the opposite.

His numbers are weighed down by his earlier season struggles, but he has been playing better of late. I think one significant advantage if you genuinely believe in Saric is that he is much further away from restricted free agency even though both players were in the same draft.
This actually seems legit to me. I just googled "Patricio Garino signs with Magic" and searched images looking for a comparable image that might've been doctored, but I found the same image linking to a story on a website for an Argentine daily newspaper.
I wouldn't say this is leaking plans, unless we infer that these lists are ordered in terms of interest. The only thing of interest is the Saric-Gordon link, though we can't really know what that means. It's possible that the front office inquired as to the availability of Saric due to the glut in Philadelphia's frontcourt and Philadelphia asked for Gordon. It could be interpreted in any number of ways.
"Xatticus has always been, in my humble opinion best poster here. Should write articles or something."

Even if we isolate his stats to just post-allstar break, he still has one of the lowest ORTG on his team, his team is worse with him on the floor, and his team is better defensively with him off the floor.

hey, no disrespect... but the couple people that I talk about rookies with at work for my amusement don't know jack sh*t about basketball. they are into tennis, baseball, boxing and football and never played the game of basketball in their life, ever. now by saying that... im not saying you have never played the game but one of their favorite to bring up in a debate how a rookie can be better and have a higher ceiling is a rookie being only 1 or 2 years younger. not 3, 4, 5 or 6....just literally 1 or 2 years younger. I find that highly pure utter blasphemous...saric is only 1 year older than Gordon. only 1 year older... that's it...just 1. I truly do not understand people with the obsession of a player being only 1 or 2 years younger drooling over that. I find it beyond ridiculous.
simmons best arsenal in his game is his court vision and because of that I think him and AG is a much better fit than him and saric.

Check by Post All-Star
Compare his offensive rating post all star break and it's still mediocre and below even Okafor on his team. He also has a terrible defensive rating and his +/- is also low for his team. Compare that to Gordon who ACTUALLY MAKES HIS TEAM BETTER.

Re: Magic accident leak free agent strategy
I don't think that's indicative of Saric's future because it's really hard for young players (let alone rookies) to provide good impact on the team, just that he does good things out there that may not translate to winning numbers just yet. He'll get there. It's more of a "we should probably stop downing our prospects because they're actually pretty good with opportunities" sort of thing. Except Hezonja, who has still shown flashes of some really nice playmaking.

Bull...
Sixers are 7-14 after all-star break
Magic are 6-14 after all-star break
Saric is putting up 18.5 ppg 7.5 Rebounds and 3.5 assist as the first option.
52.6 TS, 27.8 Percent Usage, 43.5 Percent Shooting, 29.1 Percent from Three.
100 ORTG 111 DRTG
Gordon is putting up 15.9 ppg 6.0 Rebounds and 1.8 assist as the third/fourth option
57.1 TS, 21.1 Percent Usage, 49.6 Percent Shooting, 25.9 Percent from Three.
116 ORTG 112 DRTG
Saric has him beat by everything by nearly every facet of the game besides Shooting Percentage and Offensive Rating.

I have a hard time believing the Magic put their strategy on a whiteboard. Maybe a few people were spitballing, but I seriously doubt this has any real value.

Re: Magic accident leak free agent strategy
The most alarming thing in this thread is that people actually think Saric is better than AG! I mean, what in the honest flying fk are you watching if you think Saric is better than AG. This board man... unreal.
