I guess a radio station in Milwaukee broke it as well, but I still wanna see something concrete

estrada too.
and if weeks ever remembers how to hit, we're one of the most powerful lineups in baseball, if not THE most powerful.[/quote]

Good pitching beats good hitting every time. How have the Bronx bombers done lately? The Padres beat that lineup easily in a playoff series.

I have mixed feelings about this as a Cub fan.
He is a great hitter but he strikes out a lot.

If it's Wise, Gwynn and an infield prospect I'm ecstatic. If it's Bow and Wise I'm...I don't know. I think I'm still excited. Bow has been fantastic in the 8th and Wise is Mr. Reliable, but we've still got two young studs in Carlos and Yovani (once Sheets is back) and Para may be a guy to rely on.

It's also not incredibly tough to pick up middle relief.

There is no way we give up a high ceiling prospect in this deal. It will be a B level minor leaguer.

He is not a great hitter. He has horrible numbers with RISP. He hits home runs, strikes out, and walks. Great hitters hit singles with two outs and runners on second and third.

Nope. It's a dumb move. He would be a good fit on a team like the Dodgers or Padres that lack power bats. We have them.

Dunn either hits home runs (26, 2nd in the NL), walks (52, 9th in the NL), or strikes out (113, 1st in the NL).

Sorry, but I like the thought of adding another feared bat.

He does strike out a ton. With RISP in his career he's only a .219 hitter. He does walk a ton with RISP though with an OBP of .412 and his SLG is .470 in those situations.

If this does indeed go through, it will be interesting to see how the lineup shakes out.

consistent power bats are different from hibernating power bats.
