I don't know who said Terrance Ferguson back a few pages but dam he looks pretty good. Highflying 6'7 SG shot looks real good to me in the tankathon highlights. We'd have to trade up to get him tho

He was the best scorer in one of the high school all-star games last year and looks like one of the players that could be a steal late in the first round. There are a few other interesting players that could fall - Giles, Hartenstein, Adebayo. Is it possible to move up from 33rd by including DJJ in a trade ? Not sure his value is positive probably being even less skilled(apart from dunking) than Archie Goodwin.

He reminds me of Kahwi, would love to end up with him.

Josh Jackson reminds me of a more polished and higher potential version of Dragan. Both are high IQ players who can defend multiple positions, while showing impressive passing and fluidity for their size.

I think Josh makes the most sense for us, assuming we're not scared away when we do our due diligence. And if we pass on him for behavioral reasons, I'd take Tatum assuming he tests well (athletically). But I still see a lot of value in trading down with an eye towards drafting Markknanen and also going after Anunoby or another prospect that can cause problems as a wing defender.

Smaller older guy has higher upside?

I think given Dragan's length, agility, court vision, age, the sky is the limit as far as his upside goes. I think Jackson may have a higher floor, and will be the better athlete, quicker defender and maybe a little better defender. Hopefully we have both and they keep getting better.
I could live with a Ulis/Booker/Jackson/Chriss/Bender starting 5 of the future if they all reach their upside....put more muscle and become better rebounders. Warren as sixth man who could come in for any of the frontcourt players...while shifting one or more people up or down a spot if needed.

How about the "Fultz vs Jackson" poll?

What about Miles Bridges?
I think he is gonna be a GREAT player. His upside is huge, much better than Josh Jackson IMO. He is a full year younger, his frame is way stronger and he is the better shooter.
He is a physical specimen, he reminds me a little bit of Charles Barkley. He plays tough.
I think that he is gonna rise after the workouts, probably even as a Top 5 pick.

I've kind of soured on Bridges. I think he's more likely to be Aaron Gordon - or worse, Anthony Bennett - than Charles Barkley. Now, you might think "GREAT! Gordon was a top 5 pick and he's athletic as hell, he's well on his way to becoming a stud!" but I honestly don't think he's going to get much better (I believe Orlando is shopping him because they know this). Watching Bridges, I got the distinct feeling that he lacks in Basketball IQ. He might make a play, but it often isn't the right play. It's hard to exceed at the next level without that. Call it the Gerald Green Factor.
I think there are equally compelling athletes with better Basketball IQ.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Yeah, I brought him up. I'm not sure he's someone we should target, but he seems like DJJr with a jumpshot and handles, which I think most of us would appreciate as a compelling prospect. I don't think he should go terribly high - Jennings and Mudiay haven't exactly instilled confidence in drafting a US high schooler playing abroad - but he might develop into an interesting player.

I disagree about his Basketball IQ.
He does not force the issue and he pass the ball really well for a player of his size.
He is a decent ball handler already and defensively he can switch on anyone except PGs.
He is not just a leaper. That frame can make him the better overall athlete in the draft, and with his shooting, defense and toughness he can be gold in the current NBA.
The Warriors were/are successful on defense because those Iguodala, Barnes (Durant) and Green type of forwards that can switch everything for real and are all around players on offense.
Josh Jackson lacks that body frame and he needs the ball on his hands way more on offense (look his usage) and he gambles on defense.

I don't think having a high usage equates to needing the ball in his hands, just that he had the ball in his hands at Kansas - and Bridges's usage rate is the same as Jackson's. Jackson also ranked better by most advanced and just regular stats. Most of the things you praise him for (decent handles, passing, defensive versatility) I would argue Jackson does better. IMO, the only thing Bridges has on Jackson is roughly 20 pounds, which isn't a bad thing per se, but I just don't find your argument (if it is indeed your argument) of Bridges over Jackson compelling.

Tony Bradley declared for the draft...
Very raw offensively, probably wont factor much on defense too but his rebounding is impressive.
I guess he'll come back for his soph year.
Zach Collins
PF
C
Collins didnt look all that great when compared with other 5's (probably his position in the NBA)
His outside shooting has a lot of potential tho, without Robert Williams he'll definitely shoot up the boards

Interesting front page article on REALGM right now about Fultz having a "slight" edge over Ball.
Personally, I think Ball will drop like a rock on draft day after workouts. I wouldn't be shocked to see him slide to 5/6/7.
-Crazy father
-Lazy defense
-Funky shot
-Slow (especially for the NBA level)
I want nothing to do with him honestly.
I'll laugh my ass off if he goes to NY (imagine the drama with the NY stage + his dad) or Sacramento (imagine the drama with the dysfunctional Kings + his dad).

Chad Ford has the Suns taking Lonzo Ball with the 2nd pick in his 4th mock draft.

It is not just those 20 pounds, he has a really strong body and he has a fighter's mentality.
All the best defenders in the league has strong and wide bodies... Jimmy Butler, Iguodala, Draymond Green, PJ Tucker, Leonard...all of them are built like tanks. They need that strength to fight screens, denied position, box out for rebounds.... Bridges can be special in all of that because he has all the tools and he is already a good offensive player.
I compare Bridges to Jackson because they play the same position and they put nearly the same numbers as a freshman for big time programs. But Jackson has an smaller body frame that would limit him as a defender and is one year older, that (and some other little things) makes me feel like Bridges is the better prospect out of the two.
But I would be OK with whoever we draft, I don't see BIG differences between the Top 8-10 players in this draft.
I just wanted to put Bridges in the map because I think people are sleeping on him.
