Maine wins it in OT, 110-106.
They just have to win one more. Both the next two games will be at Home. Best of 3 Series.

Jackson looks damn near impossible to keep out of the paint. Maybe his best game yet. Unfortunate that I think he's gonna get caught in a numbers crunch.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

He's looked great when I've seen him. I like him more than Rozier most days. It's be a real shame if he didn't get a chance in the NBA as a backup PG.

Seeing Mickey shoot the 3 is awesome. He needs that if he is to stick around in the NBA. I am really hoping he proves me wrong but I still think Yabusele will not amount to much. With all that weight and good athleticism at that size he is still pretty soft.

Jordan Mickey needs to sign a long-term contract with a D-League team and just commit to being their MVP for the next couple years.

He can either be the 15th man on an NBA bench or he can be the star of the entire league and probably make more money doing it.

Jacksons partially guaranteed deal gives him a bit of hope. If we simply waive him. We don't really save any money due to free roster spot cap hold.

If we have to move someone like Rozier to free up a max salary slot. Jackson could be his low cost replacement.

Rough game for Yabusele. He didn't make anything happen, so nothing did happen for him. He just seemed lethargic. It wasn't the same approach he's showed in -like- every other game ever. He didn't go for the boards or move quickly or play defense. Maybe there's a reason. It'll be interesting to see how he responds to that.

Nader and Jackson are capable of earning a spot in the NBA if the opportunity arises. Both have talent.

gonna assume the ankle had a lot to do with how slowed down Yabs looked.

turning back to Zizic, I was wondering if his team had a shot to still make the EuroBasket playoffs???

Looks like they are eliminated with one game left. Still have Turkish league games though.

It's gotta be hard to come off a month rest due to injury and be thrust into a playoff game against legit competition like Tyler Hansborough in just your 3rd game. It looked to me like he was just never part of the team flow and teammates weren't really looking for him. Last 2 games were meaningless so you can see why he got more looks.

I only watched last few minutes and overtime but it was pretty entertaining.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

They're still alive. They need to win their last game:

All eyes will be on Istanbul Friday for the game that matters most of all, Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul (15-4) versus Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade (16-3). If the hosts win, Darussafaka will advance to the playoffs and meet Real Madrid, while Zvezda bows out. A victory for the visitors sends Darussafaka home, while Zvezda would meet either CSKA Moscow or Madrid in the playoffs, depending on other results.

I don't think Yabu needs to go out there and prove anything right now. Just play solid and don't worry about numbers, just stay healthy and learn the NBA game. He'll get his chance this summer to show his stuff, when his ankle is fully healed.

Yep. Was basically going to say this. If we end up with another guard in the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing Rozier moved for a future draft pick and keeping Jackson.

Agree, he's set up perfectly to be the third string PG. Cheap contract, doesn't need to be forced minutes etc etc.

He'll stay and at least one of the current PGs go is most likely IMO.

I agree, Jackson still has a place here. At some point, cheap talent is going to be very important for our roster

Oh nice! I looked quickly and it appeared they were two games out. Glad I was wrong. Anything to keep this guy playing high level basketball for a bit longer. I hope they make it.
