You can look well past the third quarter of this game. Look at all of the games our bench gave up leads or we got off to such poor starts we couldn't recover or all of the poor clutch play. Look at the loss to the Nets, both losses to the Pistons, the blown games against New Orleans and other losses where we had a fourth quarter lead and couldn't rely on defense or just adequate bench play to maintain a lead. Poor Kemba, career year and this is where we end up.

2 games behind the Pacers with 4 games to go. All this winning for nothing.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Just take the L to Miami tomorrow and get it over with. That 3rd quarter sucked the life out of my night.

Who says no? Well, according to Nic, he might not better than those two guys, but he'll be a better father than those two 8-)

I like Nic. Need a second go-to guy to help Kemba out. Disappointing loss seeing how well the first half went. Same problem, can't guard the 3s late.

the absolute best thing that could've happened for this team is if we'd packed up in February and tanked, gotten a high draft pick, and either used it on someone could pan out to be a legit #2 scoring option or trade it for a #2 scoring option. You can do that with a 6th pick. Not as likely with the 13th or 14th pick.

Didn't see the game so a question; with trouble guarding 3's, where is the great Hyphen when you need him? MKG can't give us much offense, so if his defense is the calling card, why the trouble? Or is Batum trying to do that? Nic is tissue paper on D.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Yea, he's the 3rd guy in a contender at best. He's not a go-to guy he's a glue guy. I like him but I have to admit his limitation.

well, there's also the fact that MKG isn't even on the floor when a lot of these 3s happened. Clifford still seems to think that Marco is worth playing in the 4th and that's a problem.

Clifford's son Marco and his "outstanding defense" get the majority of the fourth quarter minutes on the wing.

The team forgot to show up in Q3 and it cost them the game. Frustrating. Can't afford to take your damn foot off the gas.

Marco was pretty damn money in this game. He was pretty much the only one that showed up in Q3.
