If you want a couple guaranteed championships you are.

You telling me that Curry, Kyrie, Love are beating LeBron, KD, Green, Thompson?

You out yo damn mind.

This is all may be correct, but GSW still wouldn't trade for him particularly at this stage in his career. I suspect they fancy their chances with the status quo anyway, the GM and coach quite likely want to keep their jobs and keep doing those jobs, and I doubt the owner wants to cede control of the budget and future direction, including player development for the future, of the franchise.

If he doesn't get it, which is likely, Harden should get it. A triple double is just an arbitrary measure, one designed to be used as a marketing push this season.

Well that's just like your opinion, man. Westbrook is clearly OKCs most valuable player. Without him they are just a trash team! Which puts him into the discussion about who's the leagues MVP. The Tripdoubs are a nice (and btw historic) achievement. His impact is undebatable even without him playing defense which btw he is capable to do.

I also consider Harden, LeBron and Kawhi as potential MVPs.

Why does the fact that OKC are a trash team without Westbrook mean that he's in the MVP conversation? If that's the nomination criteria, why not Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic? That's a really flawed way to nominate for MVP. And the triple-double is an arbitrary stat, if he didn't steal rebounds from Kanter and Adams, he would have identical numbers to Harden

Because those players aren't taking equally crappy rosters and turning them into near-50 wins and a playoff spot. Embiid's team is in the lotto, and Butler, George, and Jokic are leading fringe playoff teams that are gonna win like 40 games.

What a season he's had. No worse than 6th seed now, and going to finish within 10 wins of last year's team with Durant.

I'm starting to think Westbrook is going to win it at this point. He's just putting up some beyond utterly ridiculous numbers this last month.

So Westbrook has clinched a 30/10 season already, through 78 games.

* He needs 6 total assists in the final 4 games to clinch a triple-double season average
* He needs 1 more triple-double game in the final 4 games to own the single-season record for himself
* He is on pace to become the 10th man in NBA history to have a 30+ PER season
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy
Nico Harrison = Jerry Krause

He has also scored 241 points in the clutch this season (last 5 mins of games with a margin of 5 points or less) which is the most since LeBron in 07/08 had 270ish. I think he also has the most assists in the clutch too.

OKC are also +80 in the clutch when Westbrook is on the floor.

Westbrook is really making a lasting impression to the voters, Hardens last few games are pretty pedestrian or below his standards... Westbrook might gain a few more votes...

I've learned from RealGM that 45/10/10 is not impressive because it's stat padding, selfish and Adams gifting rebounds. But 45/9/10 is highly impressive, so Westbrook getting really close to that MVP :)

Harden posts 31/10/7 against the Nuggets including a dagger 3 en route to the Rocket's 53rd win. Not a peep. Rockets on pace for 55+ wins when predicted to win roughly 40 games. People are back to sleeping on Harden. Sad, really.

Curry and LeBron are both utterly untradable.

He said their top player - KD...

I do think the Warriors trade KD for LeBron immediately.

No he isn't and no they wouldn't.

Curry is the #1 untradable guy on the Warriors.
Warriors still wouldn't trade Durant to get LeBron.

Think about it, anywhere LeBron goes, you basically have to completely throw out everything everyone else is doing and re-package it around LeBron. It's not just about his stubbornness, he's just not a great shooter, and that's frankly a major handicap. So then you add in his stubbornness and his age and it becomes pretty simple.

Totally agree Curry is the player Golden State can't trade -- he just adds a unique dimension that allows the other players to enhance their own games. Durant being four years or so younger is huge for comparison to LeBron. Golden State can already win the title for multiple years going forward and they are all in their primes and their main obstacle is nearing the end of his prime. No need to risk anything.

However, I do think LeBron would absolutely thrive on the Warriors because LeBron is such a great playmaker at a level beyond any current Warriors player and the spacing and movement would fit him and I do think the Warriors would have even better shots at times. You see this sometimes now with the Cavs employing basically four shooters around him as a second unit and I think he can find the shooters really well frankly. From a pure basketball perspective, I wish I could see this for even a month or so, I'd think it would be great to watch because I already appreciate how the Warriors play right now.

Well there's a fundamental issue that LeBron & Green are quite redundant. If I could add LeBron in place of Green and know that LeBron would be content playing basically the Green role, that would be fantastic, but Durant's a far better fit with Green than LeBron is.

Not sure I agree....OKC has a good record when he puts up the triple double. I don't think he's hunting them either. I believe they are a better team when hes doing all of those things. Kanter would play a helluva lot more if he played a lick of defense. So Kanter shouldn't even be in this conversation.

I voted Harden, but I cant even argue against Westbrook.

On another note.....Taj Gibson is a phenomenal fit with Westbrook and Adams. I love it. I've always loved Taj and he makes them much much better.
