I wouldn't go that far just yet.
Booker has thus far proven he can absolutely light up the score board like no one has seen for a 20yo. But he also has glaring weaknesses on the defensive end; to the point where on many nights, he gives up more defensively than he puts up offensively. Even offensively, Roy was a more efficient scorer than Booker. He's also still a work in progress when it comes to being a distributor and controlling tempo. Not to say he can't be on Roy's level as a playmaker and leader since Booker is still only 20 (Roy was already 22 when he entered the league) but he's certainly not there yet.
If you're comparison is between 23yo Roy and 23yo Booker, then you may be right but Booker will have to advance in all the areas of his game which are still weak compared to Roy who was an average to above average player in virtually all aspects of the game by the end of his second season.
