What abot this guy. Super athletic, high BBIQ, need to improve shooting. Could be new Kawhi.

He played well against the USA in under 19 comp.
Had a great block against Tatum.
His stats in his league look solid.
I surprised isn't getting more looks in the mocks.
His bounce off one foot is crazy like a high jumper.

Something there, looks good. Got to admit, I heard his name forever, but I know nothing about him.

I'm a huge fan of Slavica.

His problem though is that he is kind of a 90s style 4 in the body of today's GF. I don't know if he is going to ever figure his shot out, but if he does watch out. you got a supersized Lavine in him if he can get some more range on his jumper. Definitely worth a throwaway 2nd.

He's not worthy of having his own thread, he's stuck between positions, not that good of a shooter, there is nothing special about him NBA wise

He's way too underrated by NBA "draft experts". Almost same issue as last year with Papagiannis, although he's not that underrated. I think it's very obvious that many NBA evaluations don't want to believe that white European players can have extremely high physical tools. Because these types of players just get ignored lately.

Or they ignore any such player since Vesely, or something strange like that. No logical reason in the world why mocks didn't have Papagiannis in the lottery (as was also proven when he went #13), and no logical reason at all to not have Slavica being drafted. If he was playing in NCAA you can guarantee he would be on every first round mock.

There's a good reason why he's not in 1st rounds though. His 3pt shooting looks to be non-existent. If he was at least a competent 3pt shooter, he'd be a 1st round guy.

From what I've seen Slavica is a guy who has a really great body for the 3 but not the skill-set.

personally, reminds me of Jeremi Grant.

Definitely worth investing a mid 2nd round pick imho hoping that he can improve his shooting, his shooting form doesn't look bad at all so I'm guessing it should be possible.

probably worth the risk. You can teach players how to shoot, look at Kawhi Leonard. Yeah, some players never learn it, but what you cant teach for sure is drive and athleticism.

Nik Slavica od mog kurca glavica! What do you guys think? Is he any good? I say YES. Long, hard and can penetrate at will. Great around the rim and awesome finisher.

Slavica is working out for the Jazz. From what little I've seen of him, he's nothing to write home about.

He's a project as much as any of these projects are. Has roleplayer upside IMO. Second round pick most likely, but can slide into the end of th first. Similar player to Semi Ojeleye.
