I think it's cool to see the young guys. Especially if Ellenson light it up, people will be more pissed at SVG than they already are. I expect Boban to kill it on the Offensive end for sure, I would ffed him basically everytime. Hopefully Ellenson shows us something nice, will give me a little something to looke forward to next year, well if SVG plays him. I'm still a believer if we go for playoffs next year we can do it, not syre we will tank, also not sure what one i'd prefer. I used to hate tanking, but seems you might need to do it for 1-2 years and see if you hit. I think the NBA might change the lottery soon too

I think the NBA should institute a rule that states no team can have a top 6 pick in consecutive years. Thus, teams can't tank for multiple years. Teams must then hire GM's who can build and mold teams through development, trades and Free Agency instead of doing nothing for years on end praying to the basketball gods some elite talent falls into their lap via the draft to make them look good.

SvG goes from being way too conservative, when it comes to basketball that is ;) , to this progressive guy? Oh wait, it's garbage time.

I got excited for a bit! ......... then I realized the season is over already.

Anyway, great touch he has. And a very nice basketball IQ. Good to see Ellenson out there also, good game young fella.

I think this suggestion is pretty solid. At first I thought why not just make it top 3 but teams will still tank for number 4. Also teams that have won a prior lotto have nothing to tank for. I think top 5 would be optimal. If a team won the lotto, they would be ineligible the following year regardless of where they fell in the standings. Best case 6. This would stop 3 teams out of the playoffs from tanking. Probably 3 crappy ones in general.

Nice suggestion.

Just get rid of the weighted lottery, or weight it less then it is today. This will stop the tanking and also help the treadmill teams.

I like this idea. Also I assume in this scenario, if the pick is traded then the restrictions wouldn't apply. Since that would remove the incentive to tank as well.

Basically any team who tried to tank would basically just have a bunch of mediocre players. Like us.
