It's funny how that one thing you do translates into success and a win. Effort! Would be nice if that's how the team always played

Yeah, why would you play Matt Barnes or Harrison Barnes at center, especially when they're under contract for other teams?

Well, Boban and Ellenson are playing for minutes. They brought great energy.

I think a lot of people are romanticizing this win too much. Look at the minutes distribution for Houston, they basically played their bench more than their starters. Houston already clinched the 3rd seed, they weren't too worried about getting this win.

Best thing for us is Divac is still the Kings GM, so I'm sure we could land a high pick for a dead body like Drummond.

Tfw your 3rd string center's post game is light years ahead of your 5 year max supposed franchise center.

This thought has been banging around in the back of my mind too. But, they have WCS and Skal, who have been pretty good since Boogie left town.

Then again, they're the Kings, so you never know how stupid they can be. Luckily, they have 2 picks in the top 10. There's a chance they can screw both of them up thanks to Vivek falling in love with a guy ranked in the 20's or something.

A three-headed monster of Skal and WCS and Drummond could be great for the Kings, with WCS backing up the other two. I'm a believer in Skal, for sure.
I don't see a great trade emerging there because of salary purposes-their pieces I like are on rookie contracts, their bigger deals are meh. I'm playing with the trademachine
Afflalo and Koufos and a lotto pick for Drummond? I don't know if they'd give us a great pick for a Drummond that included Gay, and I'm not sure where he'd fit in with all our SFs on the roster. Gay and Koufos for Drummond?

Reggie or Ish
KCP/Afflalo
Morris and Stanley
Harris/Ellenson
Leuer/Boban and Koufos

Idk. I can't see a trade with them that wouldn't be a lateral move at best. I want to shake things up and I'm open to trading Drummond, but I still value him.

Still they could've just phoned it in, and who could blame them, riding the bench all year long and not getting minutes even in the blowout games. Impressive effort. :)

Here you go:

Miami/Kings/Pistons deal:

Kings deal Gay, Tolliver, Koufos, Afflalo and the lowest Lotto pick they own in 2017

Kings get Dragic, Drummond & Hilliard

Dragic can bring all those young pieces together and is someone Divac has targeted over the last 12 months.

They take on salary but with the bulk of their roster on the rookie scale that's not an issue

Miami deal Dragic & land Gay - was rumoured during the season and Pat Riley gets his way, clearing big salary off the books to go shopping in free agency

We deal Drummond & Hilliard to take on Koufos, a Lotto pick while bringing Afflalo & Tolliver "home"
