i never tried to push anyone and stood in my lane. i doubt that you'd want to but you can look through all my post between them and all i did was basically defend myself.

the only time that i can think of when i got a little offensive was on another thread and that was because i had to keep repeating myself while debating. other than that i think ive been a decent member so far.

I thought he'd found a nice role since the allstar break (apart from the moments of buddy ball)?

Didn't seem like any of the whiteboard-gate targets were potential Vuc replacements, either. Speights, Maker and Olynyk maybe? And if thoughts were that we'd move Vuc to start Biyombo would Vogel want to start building Biyombo/Payton chemistry now, or would he and the FO want to keep playing Vuc to boost his value?

Just seems to be a trend of him having weak games against physical centers. Lowest points per shot on the team, most frequently takes the worst shots on the team (16+ ft to 3pt line twos) at an ineffective clip. His defense has gotten better this year, but I still don't love it because he doesn't really talk and it's still easy to get into his body and lay it in. Biyombo isn't the answer at starter but I'd look hard at bringing in somebody new. Who, I have no idea.

Wow - didn't realize he was getting so close to that. On the other hand, it shouldn't be such a huge surprise... at one point he lead the league in double doubles for quite some time. Think he's just had a pretty poor season.

anyone think if ibaka never came along vooch would've had like a all-star type year? cause last season and the year before that it looked like he was going to keep progressing. 2 seasons ago he was a double double machine...he just dipped slightly last season and really dipped this season. would defense had played a key role for that all star year along with ibaka in the mix? or do you think hes going downhill from here on out? i like vooch and want him to stay a magic...

one other thing...do ya'll like vogels classic starting 5? do you want to see this same starting 5 next year?

like everyone else has. AG, Payton, and Mario seemed to regress this season due to all the change but nobody wants to extend Nik the same courtesy because....he's been here the longest? Must be because it isn't like he's a bad player.
Nik is at that point where people are ready to move on for no reason other than because. He can stay as far as I'm concerned and we need to continue to add talent, not keep giving it away for nothing. If the plan is to actually make a playoff push.

People need to be ready to move on from Biyombos sorry ass.

I like Elf, TRoss, and Gordon as our guys to build around. I think they can develop some good chemistry moving forward especially if we can find a scoring SF and a defensive big (start Biz or trade Vuc for his opposite).

He lacks aggression on the defensive end of the court! ANY Magic fan that expects him to be here as a starter at the 5 next season is not serious about winning ball games! Dude is a 6th man at best...

Biz must be a third string center then. You could say the same thing about any player on this team when talking about winning ball games.
