I see a lot of complaints about Foye but he brings experience and some control to the chaotic offense from time to time. He's also not a terrible shooter and doesn't cause turnovers very often. To me, he doesn't seem to try to force things and knows his capabilities.
RHJ, I was initially skeptical of him because he lacked offense and tried to force it - he has no shot (really bad shooter) but he has managed to learn how to finish near the rim. Now, he's a decent slasher if he receives the ball rather than handling it by himself and running into a wall of 3 defenders. His defense / rebounding still holds enough value for him not to be a liability even if his offense isn't clicking - as long as he's not forcing things.
Now Hamilton. He reminds me of Lopez a little bit on the defensive end (is not a complement), because he seems to play like he's a 6 footer when he's actually a 7 footer. The guy can't shoot, doesn't have a post-move like Lopez, and has pretty much no offense, but to make matters worse, his defense is a liability. He can't block anyone, and doesn't have the Lopez physicality to abuse thinner bigs. In a championship team, you could hide Hamilton's weakness and limit him to 5 min. a game, but not for a weak team like Nets. Additionally, we already have a non-defensive minded 7 footer center on our team - we really can't afford to have another one. I honestly think Acy / Booker is a much better defender and rebounder than this dude even though he's taller than both of them. You can't play him 17 minutes like we did for Magic game and expect to win the game.

I wouldnt say he "cant shoot".... i mean 32% from three for a 7 footer is really good. especially if you take out all the bad games before he had his eye issue resolved.
Hamilton has his place in the league... but id agree that on this team we need defense more then we need shooting. and Acy/Booker are the right choices.
Foye is gone either way. we need the roster spots.

Hamilton is far more valuable. Hamilton doesn't make the flashy plays, but he is unselfish, plays smart, and has a decent skill set. He also shot 60% from 2-pt and never chucks or plays selfishly. Plus he will only get better with more NBA reps.
