"6. The rotation
The starting lineups of the Detroit Pistons have been utterly dreadful most of the season. In an almost unbelievable twist, the top five lineups in terms of minutes played all have negative net ratings. Four of those lineups have started multiple games, and it’s incredible to have FOUR starting lineups that fit this description.
The Pistons five most used lineups ALL have net ratings of -4.1 or worse.
Last year their four most used lineups were all +3.2 or better.

The Pistons have found a spark expanding the rotation and breaking up the stagnation of the typical starting lineups over the past couple games. While starting Henry Ellenson and Reggie Bullock is not going to be key to your success, it’s a real shame that nothing Van Gundy trotted out to start games could get the Pistons off on the right foot over the course of the entire season."
This is why SVG has been a horrible coach this year, and his stubbornness is going to destroy this team until something changes. He's coaching blind, just using guys he likes and, just trying stuff instead of purposefully putting playmakers, shooters, defensive players, energy players in the proper mix.

You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.

There is nothing to like about this team right now. Stanley isn't worth getting excited for.. Ellenson is still a massive question mark that is getting developed horribly, and we are picking late lotto.. Our payroll is out of control.. KCP will be wearing a Nets jersey next year.. And if he's not, he'll be massively overpaid.. Wake me up in 5 years.

5. Henry Ellenson
Piston Powered’s own superstar Henry Ellenson has looked more like an NBA player than expected in his two recent starts. He’s averaged an impressive 12 points and 10 boards in 26.5 minutes per game.
Why more than expected? Because SVG wasn't playing him? It would be a mistake to judge a player's quality/worth based on SVG's minute allotments. His judgement is poor.

I think everyone is sleeping on Henry. Really like him.
The rest are bums. The whole lot of them.
