Agreed. Fans who buy tickets for the last game of the season should already expect that there is a real possibility that the game will be meaningless. (Either that, or it might be a critical game with a playoff-like atmosphere. It's a gamble.)

Not buying it. The tie-breaker is so bloody important. Cleveland vs. Toronto will be a game to watch. Toronto will be tanking like crazy to lose. If they win that game, they'll have to meet Cleveland in the 2nd round. Unless Cleveland is also tanking to avoid us, it's a tough situation.

Alternate scenario is Cleveland losing to Miami and Boston winning out. That'll be tough, can't expect Miami to keep beating Cleveland.
