It is an accomplishment to be celebrated. Especially when you remember that it's occurred under 4 different GMs, 3 Head Coaches, 2 ownership groups and there isn't a single player on this roster from the start of the streak. Even the unis have changed.

(That is a massive amount of instability.)

But there be some serious caveats as well. 10 playoff appearances, 4 sweeps, 2 losing records and only a single division title...

yikes.

Had some trouble recalling whether it was Cavs in 09 and Magic in 10 or vice versa, but who could forget that beat down delivered to us in that 2nd round Magic series.

So close. But we never lost a playoff series to the Wade era Heat.

We have been swept by Cleveland three times and lost to Indy in the 1st round twice.

Hawks’ 10-year playoff streak likely coming to an end

Barring a dramatic late-season turnaround, the Hawks will miss the playoffs for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

The 10-year postseason run included the Zaza Pachulia-Kevin Garnett staredown in the first round of the 2008 playoffs and the Eastern Conference finals appearance against the Cavaliers in 2015.

5. The joy of making the Conference Finals for the first time ever in 2015.
4. Mike Woodson shaving his head and ridding himself of that ridiculous flat top for making the playoffs for the first time.
3. The 2011 playoffs when we defeated the higher seeded Magic in 6 games under Drew.
2. The Game 5 against Indiana in 2014 when Mike Scott caught fire and we blew out Indy to take a 3-2 series lead.

I remember that 2008 series. We had the loudest arena in the playoffs that year. I was there for game 6 and it was the best Hawks home atmosphere I remember experiencing.

Those Playoff games were hands down THE best experience I've had as a fan of this team. I honestly felt like we willed the Hawks to win those home games. The fans were as raucous after the games as they were during them. There was no shortage of trash talk and near scuffles outside of Philips afterward. Of course I wasn't involved in any of that, but I remember being surprised at how excited and passionate the fans were as I was going to my car.

Am I the only one that remembers Teague playing really well against then-MVP Rose against CHI that year?

I could swear Teague was roasting Rose when he was a rookie but I may be misremembering that series. CSB-time ...

I was riding Greyhound for the first (and only) time during that series and streamed the game during the ride home. Long story short, I'd driven the wife and the kg's down to the MIL and caught the bus back home.

(What, you eggspected me to spend that week with the IL's? Shiiiii ....)

Had a group of rando's surrounding my laptop to watch along. I feared for my life the whole time but I survived ... or did I. MWAHAHHAAAA ..

Also, am I the only one that read the thread title and thought this was gonna be about Mace's college days? 8-)
