no I'm just saying if you said max offer anywhere in the offer, I'm treating it as a max offer. Even if the numbers you sent me are wrong.
Provided your team has the cap space.

It'd be nice for a future GMAT if you could email the "Agent" before making a trade when you have a Free Agent to be to see if they would re-sign or even if a move might make them less likely to resign with your team. It would be a bit more realistic.

Because tampering doesn't happen in the NBA...But yes it would have to be with permission when working out a trade. I was more thinking if you have Kevin Durant, you could ask the agent if he is leaning towards re-signing or if you were to make a certain trade, would it increase/decrease odds of Durant returning. It would reduce the blind planning teams have to do now and the frustration people feel losing a superstar.
