The Clippers are peaking and the Jazz are literally limping into the playoffs. Add to the fact that the Clips excel in the mid range shot (which is what our defense is designed to give up) and have owned us for the last 5 years or so I don't see us winning. Clips will Clip us in 5.

I actually think this series is going 7 either way. Homecourt is going to determine it, so whoever ends up with that 4 seed is my choice.

This could end up being the best 1st round series assuming the clippers get their **** together. Looking fwd to it.

Sneaky stat: Jazz have only had their full starting 5 for 13 games this year. They are 11-2 in those games. That's a small sample, obviously, but that's a 69 win pace, lol.

In all games in which the Jazz have only been missing one starter (roughly half of their games) they were on a 58 win pace.

Jazz have been the most injured team in the league this year--mostly due to nagging injuries to Favors and Hill, but almost every one of their main contributors outside of Gobert have missed significant time--and as of right now it appears that everyone is healthy going into this series.

Impossible to say that this will be the difference, but it's a major x-factor going into what should be a pretty tight series.

Not everybody, but Hill, Hayward, Favors, JJ, Diaw,, and Mack do. Also it's not like the Clippers have done so great for themselves in the playoffs.

I do feel that the Jazz may have been holding back on Favors, Hill, and Hood down this final stretch to try to have them back as close to full strength as possible and avoid further setbacks. I wouldnt blame them at this point.

No, the Jazz are not "limping" into the playoffs. They're doing fine.

1-4 years ago the Jazz were a 20, 30 & 40 win team. Not really reflective of this Jazz team. If you think that the Clips will win that's fine, they could. But Give me a break lol

The teams are evenly matched and the clippers have more playoff experience, is my point. Playoff experience as a team/unit also matters. The clippers have beaten the spurs in the playoffs, so I'd say they have some good wins under their belt.

This is the best 1st round series. I'll admit I am a shameless Paul bandwagon fan for this PS. He has too many critics who kill him with farcical arguments.

Easily the most criticized player on this forum. Hopefully, the Clips will get themselves together this time. This is going to be a hell of a series. Clips in 7.

Kudos to the Jazz. Backs up against the wall for HCA and they beat Warriors and Spurs. Clippers lose and no HCA. They beat Kings right now, they have HCA. Gonna be a great series.

Clippers and Jazz are going into this game 4-0 against the top 3 seeds in the west.

They're both ready to go.

As much as I want the Jazz to win, I just think the clippers have their number. The Jazz just have a tough time with that team, not to mention the clippers are playing really well lately. I have to go clippers in 6. I hope I'm wrong.

This series reminds me of Grizzlies vs Clippers in past years. Should be a slugfest. Potential full blown rivalry may develop, which I welcome considering the Warriors+Grizzlies ones faded (Grizzlies got old, Warriors leaped a million miles ahead).

With the addition of Wesley Johnson at PF I have to go with the Jazz.

Clippers up 20 with 2 min left. Looks like HCA belongs to the Clippers.

Jazz win, Clippers are going to quit on doc rivers at some point this series IMO. CP3/Blake/Redick will quit on the franchise and will look forward to leaving to another team in free agency. The Clippers team will give up once they realize 1. the Jazz are tough and 2. the reward for winning this series is to get owned by the Warriors for the tenth time.

There's no incentive for the Clippers to win.
