Ernie has actually put the franchise in a great position going forward. This playoffs could be shaky though

Two guys with shaky jumpers do not work in the back-court together. There's ample of evidence of this, especially in today's NBA.

McCullough has shown absolutely nothing. You hype him up only because Ernie acquired him.

Oubre is the only of those four that has shown ability to be anything more than a bit player but he's still got a long way to go. You've constantly overstated his impact and Sato's all year long.

You make me cringe sometimes. You actually called for a Trey Burke Lou Williams backcourt going forward.

I don't understand how people in the NBA are more focused on help defense than guarding their man. There's no way I'd ever leave my guy wide open in the corner just to hedge in the case that someone gets beat by on a drive.

The overhelping is what is getting this team into so much trouble defensively instead of just playing good man defense, playing the drive and conceding death by a thousand cuts aka mid range

You'd never find that quote b/c I never said that. I actually never wanted to see Burke in a Wiz uniform again.

I've been keeping track of thread starter W-L records this season, but I'm a little behind. Last I checked, AFM had the best record.

Should AFM start the 1st game, 1st round playoff thread, or is he kept in reserve for the 2nd round? How will Brooks use him? What does Wall think? AFM and Wall have had issues in the past. Is that yesterday's news? What would Phil think?

Pine has a good record too, on high usage, with a long win streak (7 games?). Those two should be go to thread starters, if they're not busy playing no pants kickball.

I'm undefeated as a thread starter and Bradley Beal loves me. Oh, that's right, I haven't started any game threads. Carry on people...and Go Zards!

I just truly think guys have been on cruise control and have been waiting for this moment

No way, you're kidding yourself. They've been off since the break and they wanted to hit the ground running. Fact is they're not there mentally. Maybe I'm wrong and we see a repeat of the Toronto series. Except the Hawks are coming in riding a high.

All I know is that you should probably keep Ji in reserve until Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
