Contrary to the many excellent submissions in this tread I thought I’d post a prediction 100% based on math for a different angle to the other entries in this thread. How good or bad the numbers perform I don't know, but they should at least contribute and serve as an interesting comparison and counter point to the other predictions in this thread.

Displayed last years pythW's and change to see what my nub excel math thinks went down in the Trades, Transactions and age department this summer. The projected rotation age is there as well to see the true team roster age. Might be interesting to get a grasp of where the teams are in their rebuilding process.

Just confirming, those numbers add up to 1229.9 when I put them in. Did I miss a tenth somewhere, or do you want to round one of the fractions up to make it a 1230.0 even?

Give it to HOU then I guess. Thanks for asking and for this fun initiative. What is an off-season discussion without a guesstimate and evaluation of future results. Definitely belongs on this board imo. Will try to run a projected standing and how everyone is doing a couple of games in.

But you just need to add 4 wins to 1-4 teams? I mean, I just copied someone else's list and went down like everyone else.. And in Excel had a way off number and had to edit down.. Or else you are playing with a 4 game handicap.. Not that it matters much since it's just a prediction and 4 is a pretty small number, compared to the amount I plan on being wrong on.
I don't mind it being 4 wins off. That's trivial in the scheme of things, and those were the numbers that looked right to me. I could just be cheap and add 4 wins to the teams I'm not sure will tank, like the Mavs, but I'll stick with this anyway.

Got the small details right, and correctly had Denver over Minny as the young WC team ready to at least contend for the playoffs. Badly missed a couple EC teams (and Houston, but no more then most there). Got 4 of 6 'most confident' picks wrong so would have lost money to Vegas.
