This can't be real.. Losing the best center in the NBA the beginning of Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs?

Jazz with Gobert has a chance to beat the Clippers in a 7 game series.

Jazz without Gobert are getting SWEPT.

That's how important he is.

Maybe. But if the Jazz can manage to play the Clippers close four 4 of 5 or 3 of 4 games without Gobert, then maybe Hayward sees that the Jazz might've won the series with a healthy Gobert and there's not a better, more realistic option for him outside of Utah in terms of teams ready and built to compete for the next 5-ish years.

Boston would be an excellent fit for him, though.

What a shame for Gobert. LA obviously firm as series favorites without him there, particularly with a down year from Favors.

The Clips play such a slow pace. I guess I'm just used to watching the Warriors play, but man CP3 runs this team like they have a 185 second shot clock.

I have to admit I didn't realize how bad of a beatdown this has been until I looked it up. GS is 11-1, 10.5 MOV. I'm pulling for the Clippers this year but it is going to be extremely hard.

jazz defense very very solid even without gobert right now, just need to clean the glass better moving forward.
