Of course, Jamal just probably shouldn't have been on the court, though I get the idea of they wanted more offense on the court for the previous possession, but you still had to go back down and defend, so...

I assume they expected a Snyder timeout to draw something up when it went tie game, which would've been the time to drag Jamal.

Great job by Snyder to not use a timeout for the sake of it.

I think you're almost always better off going with no timeout there. I still remember after the Ray Allen shot in 2013 Popovich was LIVID that they reviewed it because it took away an opportunity to attack without the defense set.

Blake Griffin is terrible in the 4th quarter. The main reason the Clippers are chokers is him IMO.

He always disappears when it counts. Griffin cannot put a team on his back and carry them in the 4th. He either gets the ball stripped in the post and falls down, or his jumper just fails him. It's been a thing for years now and frankly, he's one of the most un-clutch stars I've ever seen. Great all-around player but not a star. No team will ever amount to anything in the post season with him as the 1st or 2nd option it seems.

His barrelling into players has become a bit of a bizarre go-to thing for him now as well. Kind of just runs through players to get to the rim rather than using footwork and/or finesse to make a play. A few times the Jazz players figured it out and just layed back off him and he just goes tumbling into the pine. Needs to rethink the way he's attacking on the drive as this is just getting himself into trouble, stripped, etc.

Yeah but the Jazz wanted that switch, and once they got it, they isolated their hottest player on your team's worst defender. That can't happen.

Jazz in 4? There's just something about this Clippers team that doesn't fit. Not sure what it is. I'm guessing it's a coaching issue to be honest because the players are really good.

It's their players. Paul plays like Lebron, but the Clippers roster isn't constructed like The Cavs. The don't have enough shooting.

Doc himself doesn't always like to use timeouts in those situations, coaches like to attack without a set defense, but that might have been the case. Bad decision I guess, ah well.

Clippers got sucked into the Jazz's snails pace. They have (Paul) have got to speed up the tempo and try to get into transition. Playing games in the 90's, is playing into the Jazz's hands even without Gobert.

That was a damn fine coaching job by Snyder. The defense of the Joe's was impressive and Favors gave all his ailing body allowed.

What an incredible win for the Jazz players and coaching staff. Here's hoping for another miracle and Gobert somehow is able to return for this series.

I think the pressure of the moments make him crater into the terrible habits that makes him a bad 4th Q player. When the pressure is on, he doesn't trust his skillset, those running hook shots, drop steps, and up-and-unders just go away.

It's such an absurd and glaring flaw in his mentality and approach. He should realize this and try to fix it.
