Never have I went from pure unadulterated horror to absolute elation in one game.

That being said, if Rudy is hurt for more than the next game this series got so so much tougher.

That being said again, this Jazz team has a ton of heart. I wouldn't have even blamed them if the loss of Rudy had just deflated them a ton. But no, they went out and got the win. Joe Johnson is just a great NBA player.

And Crawford couldn't hit to save his life, Reddick was a non factor down stretch.

The Clippers are so predictable, you knew it was going to be Griffin or Paul trying to make plays and all Griffin was doing was that same old back down and try to spin...all he did was get stripped repeatedly.

I had Jazz winning this series. My buddy can get into any game at Staples Center and wanted to sit this round out and watch the 2nd round against the Warriors. I was like "Nah, there won't be a 2nd round playoffs at Staples, let's go to this one". Originally had Jazz in 5 but with Gobert's injury I'll say 6.

On another note, it was a joy watching Ingles just bitch make Reddick this game. He's pretty easy to frustrate.

Originally I felt the Jazz could win even though the Clippers had dominated them over the last 18-20 games. But I knew full well what the Clippers weaknesses were and they got exposed tonight. I agree with you the Jazz can definitely win this series, and now with no pressure to come from behind they will play Game 2 with a lot of confidence. If I'm the Jazz I sit Gobert out of Game 2....depending how he feels.

Read page 1 or 2. I literally said the Jazz stars don't worry me, but Joe Johnson does.

I had Utah in 6 so I think it might endup being right. If Gobert is back for game 2 or 3 I think Jazz easily win this. The Clippers era is over.

I dont feel sorry for this team, they are losers, its in their genes, its the clippers identity, clippers franchise have always been losers with that racist sterling owner. Now their owner is a microsoft loser who couldnt profit from the revolutionary smartphone industry. Same outdated mindset went to his ownership gig where he signed a washed up doc rivers

Like I wanna know what kind of fetish do fans need to have to root for clippers for so long. In a city where lakers been winning championships for decades. I wanna know, is this so called cute cinderella story like waiting for that chicago cubs type of championship? 50 more years to go then

Sad, but true.

Blake is one of the most shook crunchtime players in the league. He wont even look at the ball.

He won't need to if he decides to join up with Russ. 8-) :P

That was honestly entertaining to watch. Not often you get to see white on white crime in the nba.

I mean how can a 32 yr old midget PG be the best defender on his team, he's simply incredible.

He isn't a better defender than Mbah Moute. Also, DJ is an above average defender

Patches Perry wrote:Griffin is an outdated PF. Not a great defender, not an elite playmaker, can't shoot threes, and scores on difficult contested 2 point shots. Just not that effective in 2017.

Griffin would have been much better 20 years ago. Nobody is holding him back, in fact Paul would be better off with a sidekick who can pop as well as roll.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've read in a while.

i agree but also defensively i think utah matches up really well as they basically exposed griffin with JJ at the 4 (side note: JJ at the 4 against blake has got to be one of the best coaching moves i've seen. this is something i'd expect someone like rick carlisle to have done), and furthermore the clippers defense has been pretty sub-standard against utah.
utah has played with injuries all season so the loss of gobert is not that big of an adjustment for them. sadly enough, clippers just don't have defensive capabilities to stop the overall not-particularly-threatening offense of the utah jazz.
