Charles Barkley is also a dumbass and a career loser.

Kennys right. Westbrook tries to do too much...it hurts the team in the long run. Am never a massive fan of high volumr shooting pg type players....ive seen enough bball to know it aint the formula for success

I am surprised that a guy with a reputation for saying dumb things to rile people up has said something dumb that riles people up.

He is right when it comes to rebounds. What is the problem here?
If you're asking me who the Mavs best player is, I'd say Luka. A guy like Delon Wright probably rivals his impact though at this stage in his career. KP may as well if he gets his **** together.

Barkley is evolving into a professional troll like Skip Bayless.

Overreacting like that after a poor game is what really gets on my nerves, regardless who it is coming from.

This video is from the regular season. It's not like he said this after game 1.

I agree. Next time WB had a triple double and his team wins, let's not overreact and crown him as the next great thing......

The video is from early March unless you were referring to somebody else. Generally I agree with you, though. And of course with anybody who says Barkley is an annoying talking head whose opinions shouldn't be taken seriously.

Well, my bad, I hadn't noticed when Barkley said that.

Regardless, I think it just comes off as jealousy, from guys who wish they could do something so unique as a 30+ points triple double average for a full season.

Perhaps Barkley thinks that if Westbrook retires without a ring, just as Charles, then Russell will be remembered more because of the triple double season.

You can disagree with Barkley's takes but he's the furthest thing from a Skip Bayless type troll. I think outside of his weird beef with "stat nerds" (probably why so many on here hate him with a passion), he generally has pretty insightful comments from a former player's perspective. He sticks to his opinions and admits when he's wrong.

Bet a lot of you missed when he predicted Washington would blow out Atlanta and that the GS/POR game was gonna be more competitive than people think.

And when he said the Bulls had no chance.

I'm sure he'll own up to it too. I just find it weird that people attack him and insult his intellect because he takes strong opinions on things. I don't usually see him doubling down on his wrong takes either. I just can't stand the new-era "Gruden-esque" sports commentator who just praises everybody and everything cuz they don't wanna put themselves out there for criticism.

He held out on "Golden State won't win" for pretty darn long. I don't even mind Chuck, but his basketball takes are usually pretty bad.

Funny, I always thought if there was anyone who played for stats, it was Charles in Philly . . . . I still remember when the Wiz ran a clip of Charles saying "Any fool can score," on the Jumbotron whenever he scored in the first half; he must have gone for 40+ that game.
