So true. I've sent a few upvotes their way, so I can take a few back. It's all in good fun.

Yup. I noticed that. I'm like who are these guys giving me and ones on my posts.

Raptors suck. Let me see if I get and ones for that from them.

See, I'm greedy. I'll take all the and1s I can get :)

He's not trolling, he's referring to the Harvard University graduate Celtics fan who was kind enough to visit our board last night and drop words of everlasting wisdom. After reading his posts regarding Canadian politics, sports, and life in general, I feel so much more enlightened now. Indeed, part of the reason I'm lurking here is out of hope that I can catch some more of Captain_Caveman's insightful posts. An accomplished scholar of his magnitude obviously can't be around all the time. Do you know if he has a posting schedule?

So I guess all these analysts talking about the Celtics rebounding woes are also being dicks then?

It's a legitimate concern and you guys need to rebound better in order to stand a chance in this series. I don't think anyone is trying to be funny when they talk about it. Just like how nobody is trying to be funny when they talk about Lowry having to play better for us to have shot at winning our series.

Lowry will play well in the playoffs when DJ Khaled figures out he's not in Miami.

What matchup was a good one for the Celtics this year? I still think they'll eek out this series, but this win is a must win.

That's less than accurate. I was doing just fine on my own board. One of your trolls came over here to mock us, and I mocked him back. Another one of your trolls then cut-and-pasted my post and linked it on your board, calling me a racist out of nowhere in the process. Totally uncalled for, and ironic considering that I have (a) spent nearly all of my life living in US cities that far more diverse than Canada, and (b) also spent several years running programs dedicated to helping immigrants of all colors and backgrounds in underserved low-income communities.

I put him in his place, by explaining that Canada's immigration policies have actually been an extremely racist, classist, systematic cherry picking of affluent immigrants, unlike the many millions of poor immigrants the US has taken on for almost 200 years.

And now you are back over here to mock me some more. Unbelievable. So yes, as a former Canadian resident who has travelled widely across your country and lived all over the US, and who has three degrees from schools better than the best Canadian one, I feel more qualified to speak about the differences between the two places.

Write this down: I do in fact take dumps smarter than you. I do in fact make more money, and have a nicer house, with a hotter wife and a bigger dick. And unlike you, I have grown up watching championship level teams in all the major sports. I currently live in CA, a state with more residents than your entire country, and an economy more than twice the size. We lead the world in innovating advances in technology and health care. You export maple syrup.

Your country is sheltered, isolated and naive. While it has many beautiful areas, the people are incredibly bland and passive-aggressive, and the weather is horrifyingly bad for 4/5ths of the year. Your immigrants tend to be affluent and educated people who look down on what a bunch of yokels you natives are, and your women are a bunch of drunken sluts. The only thing you are really known for in this world is hockey, and none of your teams have even sniffed a Cup in 25 years... just like the Raptors will never even sniff the NBA Finals.

Boston is more educated than Toronto, with more *true* diversity, and better politicians, better schools and better sports teams. We didn't elect Trump, but you DID elect Rob Ford, a drunken, illiterate crackhead. Compare him to JFK and Bobby Kennedy, Mitt Romney, Liz Warren or even other Harvard-educated folks like Obama, and then reflect on what a maroon you are.

tl:dr, you should thank me just for even taking some time out of my busy day to acknowledge what a life loser you are.

tl;dr the overwhelming majority of Toronto voted in a mayor who described himself as the most racist guy in the world. This decade. They're the last city to call out the racial relations in another city.

Just read your post, took me like 20 minutes because I'm stupid and my reading comprehension sucks. University of Toronto is basically a shack in a village compared to Harvard after all.

Now that I think about it, you're absolutely right on everything. My life sucks, my country sucks, the people here suck. Even the weather sucks. And most of all, the sports teams here all suck.

So tell me, how do I escape this miserable and deprived life? Is there any hope for me to reach the heights that someone like you did? I'm prepared to quit my job, dump my ugly girlfriend and leave this country to make it happen.
