Sources said the couple lost their spark when Anthony got traded to the Knicks from Denver in 2011. “At the very beginning, he was so smitten and in love with her,” a source said. “She was on TV and he was so young. Their relationship was legit. “At the end of his Denver stint and beginning of his New York stint, it became more about their business arrangement.” The source said they had been in a relationship “in name only” for some time.

“It’s very much a Hollywood relationship,” a source said. “They’ve lived separate lives for years.”

Can't believe some of you were really trying to blame Phil for this too, smh. This has been coming for a while, has nothing to do with staying in New York or not.

Are you really using page six to try and prove your insane point? :o
Might as well cite the national enquirer next.

then maybe you shouldnt be on a sports forum. if your only here because you care about melo, and not the "fuqing sports team" , then maybe you should take your posts to a reality show forums. you would probly get more supposrt, and then real fans can post about basketball without catching feelings.

She's saying she isn't losing sleep over a kids game and your response is she shouldn't be on a sports forum.

So you are losing sleep over a kids game?

Because nowhere in her post did she speak about Melo or choosing Melo over the Knicks.

basketball is more than a kids game and its also more than a business. a lot more to it than those things.

You're trying to jump in and steer this conversation somewhere else.

The NBA is built off the concept of a kids game, that's what this conversation is about.

At the end of the day as a FAN there is no reason why anyone should be losing sleep over a kids game they do not control nor affect the outcome on-court.

Could score AND pass. Just never had a proper supporting cast (should've kept KVH :banghead: ).

Nah bro

KVH got injured with the Bucks soon after he got traded from the Knicks. He only played two seasons after that, but missed a lot of games, and then he retired.

Had Kenyon Martin not have injured Tim Thomas, who knows how that 1st round playoff series against the Nets would have gone? Probably could have won at least one game or two.

Tim Thomas may not have panned out as we hoped, but Isiah actually got rid of KVH at the right time. Coming into the playoffs, Tim Thomas was shooting the ball even better for the Knicks than KVH. Tim was shooting above 45% from the field and above 40% from the 3pt line, while putting up 16 ppg.

I hated that deal and hated having Tim Thomas on the roster. Dude just wreaked of someone who couldn't be counted on. Now he's a poster boy for guys playing great in a contract year to sucker a diff team into paying them.

Melo accomplished more as a Knick.

Neither one accomplished much as a Knick, hence why neither one will get their number retired. All the players who have their number retired at least played in the Finals for us.

So Chris Dudley deserves to have his jersey retired before Melo & King

If that's the end all be all

Wiki says they started dating in 2004.

Couple lost their spark 7 years later.

That's like 90% of all relationships.

TMZ wants to join in I see...Trades happen. Players and their wives and families deal with it all the time for what is like an eternity.
Stop making a big fuss over it.
