Guys our roster is filled with trashy and d-league bigs, the only decent big is horford, if yabusele wouldn't play in this team then he is a bust, no matter if he is raw or even bad on defense.

We have 4 good bigs, but 3 of them are very market dependent this summer.

Zizic, Yabusele and Nader will most likely all be Celtics next season with Mickey, Young, Zeller all gone. Nice upgrade for the roster.

If the Celtics do well in free agency either it'll be a small forward(moving Crowder to mostly Power Forward) or possibly a big. Zizic could simply end up being better than Yabusele next season. There are circumstances in which Yabusele will show a lot of potential, and still see limited playing time.

Yabusele averaged 21 and 9 this year playing against men. Millsap averaged 19-13 in his last year at Louisiana Tech playing against boys.

Numbers in the Chinese league are no more meaningful than d-league numbers. So many non-Chinese put up monster numbers over there that don't translate to the NBA. Look no further than Jimmer, or Shav Randolph (and I liked Shav). In fact, their numbers are far better against the men you speak of than they were against the boys of the NCAA. Would be interesting to see what kind of numbers Mickey would put up over there.

Yabusele was a really bad pick by Ainge. If I was in charge I would trade him for a 2nd rounder while he still has some value. He couldn't even defend the wiry C. J. Leslie who weighs about the same as one of Yabusele's thighs.

???

He has ZERO value right now. Now is not the time to trade him. Especially when we can just stash him for another year. Calm down man. Don't understand why we should be in a rush to trade a first round pick from a year ago to get a 2nd rounder of which we have approximately 2 million of.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Calling it:

Zizic sees the Celtics fanbase experiencing heartache, and turns the tables by helping to carry eighth seeded Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul to a stunning upset of #1 seed Real Madrid.

Euroleague.net wrote:How much does experience matter in the playoffs? We will soon find out. Darussafaka hopes the answer is: not too much. The club's very first appearance in the EuroLeague playoffs comes against the winningest team in EuroLeague history, Real Madrid. And while both coaches are former EuroLeague champs, the difference in experience is felt most when comparing the rosters. None of Darussafaka's regular starters (Brad Wanamaker, Scottie Wilbekin or James Anderson, Will Clyburn, Adrien Moerman, Ante Zizic) has ever appeared in a EuroLeague playoff game.

Sounds like a prime Cinderella set-up to me.

I'm more excited for this game than game 3 of the NBA playoffs. Not good.

Looks like Darussafaka is down 8 in the 4th.

Doesn't show a box score, or time remaining. Anyone got anything better?

EL refs are good in terms of quality but they're egotistical bastards who want to be in the spotlight. And corrupt too.

Zizic is under utilized under Blatt. Offense is very perimeter and guard oriented.
Zizic has the potential to be a good screener, tough to do in the EL.. Refs are calling everything.
I think he is going to be a good rebounder in the nba.. Very active and aggressive.
I think he was frustrated with the coach and the refs, some be fouls were called on him.
He gets deep position in the post, but rarely gets the ball.. Has to expand his post game if he wants to be effective against big c in the nba.

Not much to report other than that.

Edit: He is getting killed in the PnR because they are trapping the ball handler. Ayon is getting easy looks inside because of that.

Oof. Down 3, 0:46 to go, Llull makes 1 of 2, Real Madrid gets the OREB.

Now 81-75 with 0:35 to go.
