Trusted poster label

Post#1 » by Duffman100 » Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:59 pm

This idea is spawned out of the Raptors Celtics feud.

I love going to other boards, discussing their team, gaining knowledge etc. But because of trolls, my posts might naturally be tainted with a troll scent.

I'm a poster who has never recieved even a warning ( I think) in like 12-13 years. Would be nice to have a 'Trusted Poster' label to those of us who are viewed as quality, non combative posters.

If we misbehave, we lose that label.

Interesting idea, and I wonder if something could be implemented that almost works as a "reverse board ban" if you will, where only trusted users can post on certain boards. It seems that situation got way out of hand, but there certainly are a bunch of users who are still able to actually behave like adults who are a bit unfairly stuck in because of the group of misbehaving users. Don't know how feasible it is but an interesting idea.

Duffman100 suggested this before he became a Moderator.

This is something we might look into doing.
