Best response: "He made amazing adjustments". Amazing. Adjustments. And it's upvoted. That place is beyond saving.

To be clear:

We just saw McDermott get his first minutes in real games in 2 weeks.
Taj still can't play over half a game for no apparent reason despite being probably the 2nd best player out there.
Norris Cole was literally wearing a suit on the bench after just getting into the rotation again.
And Singler played his first extended minutes in non-tanking games (last 4 of the RS) since mid February.

How does this guy have a job?

Who will you guys root for after this? I want Washington or Chicago out east and I think the Clips or Spurs west.

Literally anyone but the Warriors. Unfortunately that means inevitable disappointment when they beat the Cavs without too much difficulty.

TBH I don't want Houston now either. But agree on the final outcome.

Can you really blame Russ for his shot selection tho? I mean that was rough to watch, but what was he supposed to do? Nobody was willing to help and his two best offensive teammates were either completely unplayable (good job Presti) or so shook they looked like they might airball a Ft (Dipo).

Robes was out there fighting. Grant is our 3rd leading scorer after two games I think. DMD was really the only guy who made shots.

Pair that with our non existent offense besides Russ and you get this.

What's even more frustrating is that Russ was straight up spectacular for the first 2.75 quarters. Then his shot left him and his teammates and Donovan as well.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills sometimes, because outside of this place, so many people defend Donovan and would point to this as him being some kind of genius coach making mastermind adjustments. He literally cost us this game, and probably completely ruled out any slight chance we had in the entire series.

No, I can't. Which is wy I'm ready to lose it on people.

And watching Sportscenter now, Russ was legit pissed at teammates and I think said something after the game. Good on him.

Only 2 more games guys. Then it's over. Reading about the draft.

Most people fall for the Thunder propaganda.

My head feels like its about to explode when I hear people who are Thunder fans support Donovan blindly. Its one thing for the national media to ignore it, because they don't watch every OKC game, but for people who are supposed to be fans to like him is beyond me. I've wanted him fired for a while now, but sadly the roster is probably more subject to change than the coach.

For me, Spurs in the west. Bulls in the east.

We'll get one at home. Oladipo will have an average game and abrines will hit a few three's and Houston will let up a bit. Then they'll blow is out in game 5.

-14 in 6.5 minutes. Presti and Donovan are both crap.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Let's go scotty. Go prove presti is an idiot.

Osirus89 wrote:See... here is the problem with trading Russ that we aren't seeming to get.
Let's say you trade him to Boston. OKC will ask for both brooklyn picks. Thats seems steep, but they will ask for that for a top 5 player in the league that will likely win MVP. Say Boston pays that offer.

So you now have Boston with fewer trade assets and Russ. Does IT stay on the team or is he in the trade. If he isn't in the trade, does he go to the bench ? He is up for a contract soon... do you pay him ? If you don't you essentially have the same situation with Russ and a bunch of guys that cant do anything on their own. There is a reason that are down 0-2 to the 8th seed and will probably lose the series.

Getting Russ would also not address the problem of badly needing rebounders. Do you address that in free agency ? They need help on the wing so Hayward might be a good target, but then you still have Horford eating up capspace. Do they try to get Blake in free agency ? They have alot of holes to fill to be a contender. Russ won't make them that much better unless they are also getting another star player with him in the frontcourt. However, they can't trade for another star because they would have blown all their assets in the Russ trade.

The most competitive team for Russ to go to if he left would be San Antonio, but they don't have the assets to trade for him. However, they are clearly the best team for Russ considering they have a big hole at PG with an aging Tony Parker and of course Pop as a coach.

You're looking at this like you're a Boston fan. Who cares how trading Russ impacts Boston? They'll figure out what to do with Isaiah Thomas. If they want a rebounder throw in Kanter for Jaylen brown.

I hope he is pissed. The last thing we need is fools gold hopes. Russ or no Russ, this team needs to start over.
