More lefty struggles.
3-1 this year against the Rockies and the Rockies are good this year. I have them getting the Wild Card, so I don't view this as a blip. They're good.

I'm with you on A-Gon. I just don't know if Cody is ready right at this moment. I don't want to ruin his confidence by bringing him up when he's not ready.

I wanted A-Gon traded a couple of years ago when he actually had some value. He just wasn't good enough in that present moment to justify $40 million worth of nothing in 2017 and 2018. I would have covered some of the cost to do it. He's also the last remnant (well, when we finish paying CC this year) of that terrible Boston deal and I wanted to move on completely.

Now we're stuck with him and "blah blah blah locker room guy" is going to justify it :noway:

when Utley, Kershaw, Turner and Seager are more than enough.

Luis Robert was reportedly supposed to be the new face of Cuba baseball after the defection of Yulieski Gurriel, but he himself just defected. While the Dodgers will not be able to realistically sign the kid, he's considered by some to be the 2nd best international prospect outside of the US.

^good for them. happy to see those guys doing well. but it's not like if we still kept Cotton, he would be in our 25 men roster. he would be rotting away in the AAA. besides, I knew the best we will get out of Hill this season was going to be around 100 to 120 innings. hopefully the bulk of that comes at the end of the season.

Brandon McCarthy has been a breath of fresh air so far.

We needed that kinda start today and his composure after the Goldy homer was just what the doctor ordered.

Glad hes over his yips and glad him and Yas seem to work together well.
