Game 3 vs. Houston predictions

Post#1 » by sleestak33 » Fri Apr 21, 2017 1:02 pm

I think OKC has a pretty decent shot at winning both home games since the Peake will be rocking and they play much better at home. I think they'll win game 3. Oladipo is the key to OKC having any chance in this series and I don't know if he's just in some sort of shooting slump or just choking in a colossal fashion because it's the playoffs. He absolutely must score at least 15-20 points for OKC to beat Houston and had he done anything whatsoever in game 2 OKC would be tied 1-1. This team simply doesn't have enough scoring to overcome their starting shooting guard shooting 19%. If Donovan will limit his rotation to only 9 players and Oladipo can step his game up they're not out of it yet.

Competitive loss is my guess. But they haven't had a hot shooting game yet either.

The sun is shining. We're winning tonight.*

*We've unofficially lost every Playoff game when the weather was bad in Germany going back to last season.

Trust me on this.

Also see this one as a loss, thinking close but it could easily get out of hand. Let's be honest, okc played really bad down the stretch of the regular season. Houston started cold from 3 last game. I want to say okc could win if they get hot, but who is gonna get hot? Kanter probably won't play much. So who's gonna get it going? Adams? Roberson? Gibson? I think the only real hope is oladipo, and that's a long shot since he hasn't gone for 30 all year. Harden can do whatever he wants, they can't play him without fouling (nobody can), and if they double him houston is loaded. I just don't think okc can beat them on their best night, bc okcs best night is really Houston's average night. So would need a bad game from houston to win ultimately. Someone tell presti okc doesn't need to prepare for the gasol/Bynum Lakers or the Duncan spurs anymore. It's all about shooting.

It'll be a close game. This might be one they pull off. I'll call it a coin flip. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Russ if they go down 0-3.

Trust me on this.

Called it. And thank God the sun will be shining on Sunday yet again.
