Harden feels like the evil bastard son in a superhero movie: u would almost never root for him, yet Huang demeanour (not antics, but his overall vibe) makes it reli hard to hate him.

Rockets fans and harden fan sign don't get me wrong. I mean this in the most positive way, I actually start to like him lol

Harden and Bev both had 5 fouls and they were up 2 games to none

This doesn't change my opinion. Second time he should have gone for the tie. He took a bad shot in the endz

I hope you're right. Westbrook on the bench now, so here we go...c'mon Thunder, don't blow this lead.

Definitely right.

I think we can also dispel the myth that Andre Roberson is not an elite 3pt shooter. 66% tonight.

I still can't get over that intentional foul with 8.8 seconds to go and Harden in the back court. Ridiculous.

It's one thing to intentionally foul in the last 3-4 seconds when up by 3, but with 9 seconds to go and the Rockets having a time out left? Basically they created an opportunity for the Rockets to win in regulation, which almost happened.

TBH I hate these Harden iso. His handles are just not as good as someone like McGrady. Ugh. Rockets could have won this game tonight.

I'm perfectly fine with those final shots considering the Rockets were on the road and playing with house money.

They took the Thunder's best shot and never panicked. They were down 15 and still felt like they were in control.
Harden made big shots in crunch time to even it up so I'm cool with him going for the win.

So unless Westbrook magically got new teammates who all have happen to have the same name, can people never again say that his teammates are so bad that he is forced to take all the shots for them to have a chance to win? Somehow he only took 20+ shots and the Thunder still pulled out the win.

How so? Nothing I saw from this game tells me Hardens supporting cast is not better than Westbrooks.

Fully expected my Rockets to pull it out but it wasn't meant to be.

At least maybe we can kill that "scrub teammates" nonsense now.

One game "must win" home game in the playoffs doesn't dispel the fact that Westbrook's supporting cast isn't very good.

I guess not

Thank you Steven Adams! That was such a save how he dunked that missed 3 in...

This game was completely nuts! Both these teams are so good. Houston bench is unbelievable.

There is no denying that Harden and Westbrook are the two best PGs in the league.

I knew Westbrook was gonna be mad about those free throws (he usually makes them all and missed 2 key ones at the end) - and here it was the first thing he said when interviewed ;).

He's probably going to be torn apart over FTs now. Just watch ;).

Yea it was dumb to foul that quickly especially with Harden having 5 fouls OT wouldn't have been the worst situation. They fouled way too quick and almost blew the game in regulation.

I don't mind the missed free throws at the end as much. Stuff happens. In general, Russ played much more in a controlled manner in this game and overall was a great game.

If anything, I think I will never be concerned when we are down 10-20 pts to OKC. WB will have his moments to let us get back into the game, and normally 4 out of 5 Rockets on the court can go ISO on a broken plays. This game we were down by double digits pretty much all the way yet it's still one shot from winning, or if Kanter didn't make that putback from WB's game throwing-away fully contested 3.

GG OKC, onto game 4.

Westbrook's teammates scored more points, at a better percentage, and got more rebounds.

The difference from previous games is that Westbrook wasnt taking as many shots. He actually looked for his teammates.

If he keeps doing that they can win this series.

Not concerned about the series still. Thunder shot the hell out of the ball and the Rockets shot in the 20s from three, and they still only lost by 2 in the road

It was Adams, but yeah that was very bad shot selection, when he had Oladipo wide open.

Steven Adams literally saved Westbrook when he was bricking every free throw in sight.
