This game was completely nuts! Both these teams are so good. Houston bench is unbelievable.

There is no denying that Harden and Westbrook are the two best PGs in the league.

I knew Westbrook was gonna be mad about those free throws (he usually makes them all and missed 2 key ones at the end) - and here it was the first thing he said when interviewed ;).

He's probably going to be torn apart over FTs now. Just watch ;).

Anyone who says Westbrook is only about stats and doesn't care about winning just doesn't get it.

How so? Nothing I saw from this game tells me Hardens supporting cast is not better than Westbrooks.

Westbrook's teammates scored more points, at a better percentage, and got more rebounds.

The difference from previous games is that Westbrook wasnt taking as many shots. He actually looked for his teammates.

If he keeps doing that they can win this series.

He played differently, yes. But the most important thing to know about this is that his supporting cast does show up, but it's just every 5th game or so. And that has ailed this team all season long.

Steven Adams literally saved Westbrook when he was bricking every free throw in sight.

I guess I have a somewhat different take. Westbrook got his teammates involved in a home game where role players usually play better than on the road in the playoffs and the Thunder still barely won by 2. I do think getting his teammates involved was the right basketball move though.

tbf I think they have been shooting the 3's as well as Hou this series lol

They will probably have a better % after this game. That won't sustain

Since 1/1, Houston is 24th in 3P% and the Thunder are 26th (34 vs 32.something %). This is not totally unexpected. The difference is volume.

In all seriousness. Westbrook was much better distributing the ball tonight. Gibson and Dermott hit some big shots.

Is it fair to say Harden, despite pretty stats, just didn't make his teammates better tonight and that's why they lost?

Robes has been playing out of his mind so far. He might be playing himself out of our price range tbh.

We'll have to get rid of Kanter this summer with the new contracts coming in.

He signed a 4 year extension so that wouldn't make much sense.

Always the blame on Russ and the thunder organisation. Pretty Standard.

Adams is the most beloved thunder player and is friend with so many teammates. That's beyond stupid.

But yeah, he has been terrible for the last 3 months.

James Harden played well because he didn't need 40 shots to get 40 points.
