We can't catch a break can we. I was hoping Blake would be fine since he missed time earlier this season..............

Just gotta do what we can to win the series.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Hey, at least the x-rays were negative...

Let's be real, even with Blake, there was no way we'd be able to knock out GS. The problem is, now Doc has yet another excuse for our failures.

yeah i think doc has gotta go for various reasons. but it's a lot easier to convince the owner to stay when you are allowed to say you weren't fully healthy.

Do I even want the Clippers to beat the Jazz now just to earn the right to get waxed by GSW?

advancing in the playoffs is always better. austin gets more playoff experience, jordan the same, the games make your players better. or maybe there's a freak game like ours last year where all their stars go out for the season. the big thing though is the chance that cp3's decision to stay is impacted by an early exit.

You should definitely still want them to advance. The team is obviously worse off without Griffin, but Speights can at least space the floor better than Griffin and now cp3 will be fully in charge at the end of the game- no more Griffin force dribbling into triple teams and turning the ball over

I violated my own advice and read the general board. Man some people are disgusting human beings. Celebrating injuries of other players is despicable. I thoroughly disliked Kobe, but I never gloated over his injuries.

this might not be as bad as it seems. they lost gobert, we lost blake. now their defense has weakened in the middle while offensively or defensively we are not significantly worse.cp needs to ook for his own shots first now, but i enjoyed our second half's defense emensely.
ehhhhh f it.

In fairness to Doc, Brice was injured for most of the season

This playoffs is going to test the Clipper's love and loyalty to Blake Griffin. If they keep him, they're going to have more second round exits and injury breakdowns like this. But if they let him go, will they be devastated enough to not make the playoffs without him because he's their heart and soul, and the true savior of the red-white-and-blue.

For what it's worth, the loss of Griffin could be what galvanizes the Clippers to finally get out of the second round. If this is their last year together, and the reality of having to give up Griffin is becoming realer than ever, then dedicate your play to him. Defeat the Jazz for Griffin, defeat the Warriors for Griffin, make the Finals for Griffin. Win an NBA championship for Griffin.

Clippers could follow the path of the 2012-13 Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team. In the regional finals, Kevin Ware suffered a compound fracture, one that would have crushed the Cardinals mentally and give away the game to Duke. Rather than checking out, they checked in, playing every second of the way for their fallen guard. Their love for him was monumental enough to catapult them into the NCAA Finals, eventually winning the championship. Clips could be just like the Cardinals.

For some strange reason, the Clippers seem to operate fully well under these kinds of circumstances. You only need to look no further than how they arose beyond the Donald Sterling scandal.

I just looked through every betting website I could find to put money that CP3 would get injured tomorrow night. That seems to be just fitting our struggles.

not that i expect anything different of the haters, but that's just how some of them are going to be.

what i find most amusing really is the number of people who are ignorant about the injury. a toe injury is severe for an athlete. it's not at all like just some simple bruise or stubbed toe you'd get from hitting a couch in the living room. it's cool though, it lets me figure out who the real idiots are on the GB (not that i needed any extra help)

To be honest I don't think I've ever been on the general board. I pretty much just stick to the Clippers forum. I'm never curious enough to check out other places.

Yes. It's not like he suffered a catastrophic injury like an Achilles or acl

Time to rebuild the experiment of this team failed. Not retooling with the health of Paul being just as bad. If Paul has to play like game 3 we all know he is going down with some type of injury.
