Paul George got the ball at the end of the game with the last shot and...DAGGER.....he missed everything. So the dagger is put in the Pacers by Paul George.

Paul George is now...

Who can get a couple games against the Cavs next round? Bucks? Raps?

Raps. I think Bucks would be like the Pacers at best. Close games but no cigar unless the Cavs get bored

We would have to do it by next July as there's really no chance after that once he's on a new contract.

In the summer of 2018, we could put a sign and trade package together for him if he wanted to come here specifically and the Pacers would rather have something than nothing.

We could also trade for him at next year's trade deadline if the Pacers knew he was gone and we had good reason to believe that he'd resign with us (like....REALLY good reason).

It's not totally outlandish if he wants to win given that going to the Western Conference is a rough road. He seems to have a good relationship with Wall too. But, if he just wants to go back to Cali, wants extra dollars from Indiana or has some other idea it's not going to work out.

Still, being able to play with Wall and Beal would have to be a nice sell and the city isn't Milwaukee either.

The situation with Cousins is the same as they both become free agents in the summer of 2018.

So there's no conceivable way we could dump enough salary to sign him as an FA? While still retaining Wall & Beal's contracts of course

I hadn't been thinking about that route, but yeah, we could theoretically dump money and get under the cap so long as we didn't have contracts that were too hard to move.

Bradley, Wall and Ian would be around $60 million, and you could probably have a max slot available with Kelly's cap hold and something like Kief or other contracts adding up to that same amount.

Nene just played his best playoff game ever. 28 points (12-12FG) and 10 rebounds.

Ariza was also very good.

Those two and Javale McGee are each helping their teams advance.

Nene, WOW, that's $2.9 million dollars well-spent by Houston.

I'm so used to watching guys like Wall, Beal and even Oubre go for chase-down blocks, when I see MCW trail behind without going for the block, it just bothers me.

I have so much damn respect for Russell Westbrook. Just watched a clip of Russell not having a reporter asking about why the team does badly when he heads to the bench for a blow.

I caught it on a Facebook clip by CBS sports and I know know how to convert a facebook post into a non-facebook url.

I'm gonna try it here, hope you can watch it: https://www.facebook.com/CBSSports/videos/10154840788631773

Much respect, Russell.

Jerian Grant and Carter-Williams are horrific.

Celtics tying this at 2-2. Looks like they'll win in 6.

I cant disagree anymore... There was nothing wrong with that question. Russ is a hell of a competitor, but does not have a winning instinct. Killer instinct, yes... Winning, NO.
The damn guy hogs the ball all the time and has to hog the post game mic too?

Would the wizards be better with Nene, McGee and Ariza today?
