lol, I missed the beginning of the presser.. and good for me.

Kris trolled the audience by saying the usual stuff you say when you will not play for your NT. "This summer will be very important for me. I will be training really hard. Will have the answer about the NT in august.." And in the end dropped "I'am kidding. I will play."

My take:

So he skipped his exit interview so Phil couldn't personally talk him out of playing or tell him not too. He then went off to the NBAPA's office to make sure he was in his full right to play. The Knicks are not happy with him and KP doesnt care.

Yup, in the interview he said he did not consult FO about playing in national team and his brother said that he is in a position to decide this by himself so looks like he does not give a **** what Knicks FO thinks

So the Knicks don't want him to play for Latvia and potentially get hurt. But rushed him back from injury numerous times during a down season? This franchise is so backwards. If it doesn't make them money, they will play the overbearing parent role basically.

Yeah, we cannot blame this kid. He's 21, has just had two years of seeing the circus that is the Knick world. Let him go home and play for his home country so he can feel the love again, and can come back refreshed, improved, and no longer homesick in any way.

Honestly this might be good though

Get away from this crap for a couple months, and I know that it's against bums, but he'll at least be the first option here.
