Bill Pidto wrote:It's so pathetic seeing all the same nimrods from the Melo fan club come in here and try to rile people up about KP leaving because of Phil. Meanwhile, based on all the signs and quotes KP is giving us, it's clear once again that Melo is the team's biggest problem.

Tell me how any of this has to do with Phil, aside from the fact that he assembled the team (and I know that's a big aside, but humor me for a moment):

-The vibes in the locker room this season were terrible
-Noah was the vocal leader they needed, needed more players like him
-Noah played in a system his whole career so he "knows how to play the right way and refuses to play another"
-Noah was the one guy who would tell players things they don't want to hear
-Shame Noah couldn't play more, because from the bench, he couldn't make up for the "stupid mistakes" the team constantly made
-KP tried to be a leader and speak up in the locker room, but you can't change guys who have been playing hero ball for 10 years (aka, can't change the spots on a leopard)
-KP's brothers were pissed about KP not getting the ball this year. During one game, Jianis broke a TV in a hotel room after watching the Knicks freeze out KP
-only thing KP says about Melo is that he's a "really chill dude", and "nothing can fire him up". AKA, he's there to collect his money and score points, and doesn't have sh*t to say, even when the team is in dire need of a leader

Melo is a BITCH and a CANCER. GTFOH.

KP loves NY, loves being a Knick, and if he doesn't love Phil, he sure as hell respects him, and will learn to respect him even more once the cancer is removed and the Knicks start playing "the right way", just as KP keeps lobbying for publicly.

Do yourself a favor and ignore the Debbie Downers on this forum. The alarmists, the fear mongers, the jealous nut jobs who can't stomach Phil's success, the neurotic wackos who think they should have been NBA execs in another life, and the seasoned posters on this board who would rather promote their own catch phrases than have a real basketball discussion.

Ignore them all. Everything is fine, because Phil is trading Melo's ass and rebuilding around KP, and you will like it.

don't choke on all that peyote bill, you're almost getting as senile as phil. i legit laughed at the bolded

kinda like, this cake is disgusting. i blame the sugar and the flour but not the guy who baked it.

Sometimes bad ingredients do ruin the cake, and it's not the bakers fault. Like using rotten eggs, or adding raisins to a chocolate cake, thinking they were chocolate chips.

I'd send him out for the top pick this year. Remember the Revis situation? It's getting to that point.

Ps, **** you hardaway.

That high on Fultz?

Is that cloak and dagger in your avatar?

That low on Porzingis. We need to get rid of him before the word gets out.

Yes it is, good catch.

so phil spent 73 mill on some rotten eggs and traded for a raisin when we needed a chocolate chip. doesn't sound like phil knows how to cook maybe this job isn't for him.

Absolutely. I wonder if this guy would be a top 5 pick this year if they still let high school kids enter the draft.

Maybe the eggs were already there in the kitchen, and he thought they were fresh. Those can't be returned. And perhaps someone mislabeled the chocolate chips, and put raisins inside. He might have been on a clock, and had to make do with what he had.

At least he got the frosting right. Let's let him pick all the groceries and not leave him with rotten eggs to work with.

I would trade Willy for a 2nd round pick, so I could trade Porzingis for him. Then I'd trade him again for another 2nd round pick.

you got two 2nd round picks after those deals, I think it's a win win. tbh

Spoiler:
But seriously, How you even came up with this? lmao

Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

if my chef can't tell the difference chocolate chips and raisins then i don't want him baking me a cake. and i'm assuming melo is the rotten egg so it perplexes me while phil would sign him to a max deal with a ntc. boy phil sure is one naive cook.

all this analogy does is reinforce that phil doesn't actually know what the **** he's doing.

I cannot lie. If this motivates Phil to trade both Melo and KP to Boston, I would really enjoy watching Celtics games.

Maybe. But fact of the matter is he is cooking with rotten eggs.

He's baked a lot of championship winning cakes. Let's give him a chance with fresh ingredients.

The baker is contracted for another 2 years anyway. You're gonna eat the new cake whether you like it or not.
