Don't you dare put that idea out in the universe! :P

He was already sounding non-committal saying it could easily be someone else next game to step up. I think he's excusing himself for not playing norm early on. In fairness, norm is inconsistent.

The only thing inconsistent about Powell is the minutes he gets.

Do you think Norman will cry when he wins Finals MVP?

Post-game Casey: So what you're saying is there's a better way to NBA than hero ball?

Man I just love this pic. Powell deserves all the recognition that's he's gotten lately. Got jerked around by Casey all year and now getting his due.

Quality home win, take it to Milwaukee and throttle these fools.

That's okay Jack, I now you want to give JKidd some more love and credit for what he's done with this young team... we don't care, we just out here winning.

NORMAN POWELL, this kid is ice cold, love it!

Great game by Raps. Amazing game for Norm.

Let's see if we are a different team this year and go get them in 6?!

You mean Demar is making Norm look like a star which is what all the best players do, make their teammates better.

Yeah Norm isn't doing what he did tonight without the attention DD was getting along with the passing DD provided. Anyway we've seen Norm play without Lowry or DD on the floor, he wasn't exactly screaming star. They're no way he should've been on the bench tho, still scratching my head

What's even more impressive was that for most of those games Norman started because Demar was hurt and not in the game. The results are mind blowing. He's the real deal.

We see six men covered only in simple layers of tattered sackcloth; their bodies appearing thin and malnourished with bones and joints clearly visible. Each man is a burgher, or city councilmen, of Calais, and each has their own stance and identifiable features. However, while they may stand together with a sense of familiarity, none of them are making eye contact with the men beside them. Some figures have their heads bowed or their faces obscured by raised hands, while others try to stand tall with their eyes gazing into the distance. They are drawn together not through physical or verbal contact, but by their slumped shoulders, bare feet, and an expression of utter anguish.

England's Edward III, after a victory in the Battle of Crécy, laid siege to Calais, while Philip VI of France ordered the city to hold out at all costs. Philip failed to lift the siege, and starvation eventually forced the city to parley for surrender.

According to medieval writer Jean Froissart, Edward offered to spare the people of the city if six of its top leaders would surrender themselves to him, presumably to be executed. Edward demanded that they walk out wearing nooses around their necks, and carrying the keys to the city and castle. One of the wealthiest of the town leaders, Eustache de Saint Pierre, volunteered first, and five other burghers joined with him.[2] Saint Pierre led this envoy of volunteers to the city gates. It was this moment, and this poignant mix of defeat, heroic self-sacrifice, and willingness to face imminent death that Rodin captured in his sculpture, scaled somewhat larger than life.

Although the burghers expected to be executed, their lives were spared by the intervention of England's queen, Philippa of Hainault, who persuaded her husband to exercise mercy by claiming that their deaths would be a bad omen for her unborn child. (Her son, Thomas of Windsor, only lived for one year.)

Are you the dude who made the brutalist architecture thread

I didn't see who posted it, but I saw the pictures as I was scrolling down and thought to myself "this post reminds me of that incredible thread that was comparing officiating against the Raptors to University architecture" then had a good laugh when I realized that it was in fact the same poster.
