Not really. Why can't you be happy for both? I know Canadians have inferiority complexes with Americans but only in Toronto does it carry over between teams in the same city. That makes your complex chronic.

whotf is this guy?! either read every thread so you can follow the humour, or stop eating. one or the other. foh

I don't expect Powell to put up 25 points, Ibaka to hit 80% of his shots, Carroll to actually play like JYD 2.0, Patterson and Joseph to hit open shots and JV to play well on both ends of the floor every night, but it would go a really long way if our role players can continue to play well. It opens things up so much for Lowry and DeRozan, and it takes a massive workload off of them; as evident tonight, they combined for 23 FGA when they typically combine for 30-35 FGA. If even two or three role players are playing well, we should have a good chance in game 6.

This seems like a much different playoff Lowry and playoff DeRozan so far, though. Lowry had an awful game 1 and DeRozan had an historically bad game 3, but they've arguably been our two best players (actually, Powell has been our best player, but he only played in the last two games) and they've been good or great the rest of the series. Lowry is averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists and shooting 45.8% from the field and DeRozan is averaging 25.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and shooting 46.7% from the field in the other four games. Game 1 for Lowry and game 3 for DeRozan are really dragging their stats down for the series; they've actually been playing close to how they would in the regular season.

Lol I can't believe Turbo won two roundtrip tickets. RealGM literally made this man.

I think we need to give him an honorary status. Can the mods and/or Howard vouch for this? He's our claim to fame.

It sucks cause if the raps play up to their potential we can definitely compete with the Cavs. It's our mental composure that worries me. Dd and Lowry need to be selfless and not force their game. They have to pick their spots to make the isolation plays, but u can't consistently do that.

Ya Lowry is getting it too. Finally we are breaking that trap down. If they give up the ball to the right man we should continue to dominate the Bucks.

Agree Buff. I was happy everytime I saw him looking for the open man. It was great to see the open man make the extra pass alot of time as well. Bucks D was shifting a ton.

i see what youre both saying but DC's proven he can make adjustments now. that's worth something. he's getting the most out of his guys- they just put up by farrr their best performance in Game 5 ... thats powerful. clear advantage over Tyronn Lue, albeit on the sidelines

Honestly it was difficult to watch that bball especially when you know the team is capable of playing such a better game. I hate when we don't move the ball and it starts with our top two guys. If Kidd wants to blitz dd and lowry we have to make them pay by finding the open man.

I remember a couple years ago some twitter study was done on fanbases. By far the biggest raptor fanbases were located in the GTA obviously, then Montreal, then the Atlantic.

wow... norman powell has been super impressive. seriously, guy is for real, getting rid of ross for ibaka and making room for powell was a great move... i admit at first i wasnt sure about it because of our 3 point shooting, but powell has really turned himself into a legitimate 3 point threat...

best game the raps have played so far this series... they have to put it away on thursday... no more **** around...

He was doing it quickly and decisively as well. That is a whole other DD and teams will have to play him one on one.
Then they lose, lol.
