The point guards involved in the first-round Eastern Conference playoff series between the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards likely will have a decisive role in determining which team moves on.

Atlanta's Dennis Schroder and Washington's John Wall have been two of the focal points in the series, which the Wizards lead 2-1. Game 4 will be played Monday night at Philips Arena.

Schroder is averaging 25 points and Wall 31 points through the first three contests.

We're on TNT tonight, fellas. NOT NBA TV.

Wall v Schroder and Markieff v Millsap has suddenly made us a more interesting matchup than Giannis v anyone.

Let's shake up the world!!!

Way to defend home court Hawks! Phillips arena was LOUD tonight.

Game 4, Hawks shoot 38% from three.

The Hawks just need to run the system and not stink it up from three, and they should be competitive for the rest of the series.

Love Budball. Always great to see a well coached team. Time to do it on the road.

These have been (IMO) Hawks' two most satisfying postseason victories since we upset Orlando 6 years ago.

Shutting up Wall. Humbling Markieff. Making Wiz fans sweat a bit....I love it.

No matter what happens the rest of the series, these guys played with pride and defended home court when it really mattered.

I predict this series ends in 6 games. Time to see what these two teams are made of.

Why is Thabo not playing in this series?

His defense has been terrific in the ATL games I've watched this season.

Here is another marker the Hawks should be careful off...

Assist/Turnovers......
Game 1: Wizards 28/12 Hawks 18/19
Game 2: Wizards 22/11 Hawks 17/18
Game 3: Wizards 16/15 Hawks 26/11
Game 4: Wizards 19/14 Hawks 24/12

Lets see in game 5 which team comes out and plays sloppy and which team plays crisp fundamental basketball.

Had a groin injury before the playoffs that kept him in and out of the lineup. He's listed as fully healthy but he's clearly not moving as fluidly on defense as he did most of the season. Couple that with his typical hesitation to ever take a shot on offense it's just better to sit him outside of spot situations.

Charles say Hawks are only going to win 1 game. I'm not hating on Charles, he gets paid to make commentary and fill TV time, but Charles is guilty for "reactionary commentary". He is really quick to talk about doom and gloom about any team after just one performance.
