Familia will be back this Thursday and that should be a big help to the bullpen.

Michael Conforto is batting leadoff tonight and I like that a lot because he may be our best pure hitter with the highest on base percentage.

Heard he's been hitting singles pretty much. Has that changed?

who cares if he's hitting singles, he's hitting. the bat speed is there, the power is also there.

the centerfielder played this perfectly and rosario still got a triple!

He's a talented kid, but what exactly is the rush? I'd rather he not deal with the back and forth like Conforto did. Let him and Dom Smith develop in triple A until next season when Walker, Duda, Granderson, Cabrera, Reyes and Bruce are all off the payroll. This team is filled with all or nothing hitters and right now it's pretty much just nothing.

Big mistake was giving up Murphy who I believe should've moved to first and they should've given up Duda who's a nice guy but is extremely streaky and is just a home run/strikeout/walk hitter.

Are they waiting for the Super II deadline? Reyes batting less than his weight is killing you guys.
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles

The team collectively is hitting .214. It isn't just a Reyes problem. The lineup is filled with all or nothing hitters. You can't live like that anymore. Our pitching staff hasn't been lights out since 2015. Quality starts but nobody is putting up zeroes. We need zeroes right now and that's not happening.

why should they have given up on duda when up until murphy fused with ted williams, he was a more productive hitter.

i think theyll both get called up this year tho, sandy has shown he gives no **** and calls up the guys when he feels we need em. sometimes it works like with conforto, other times it fails like with dilson herrera.

Can someone tell me when Rosario is coming up? I'm a fantasy player and want to get him a week early rather than blow my waiver wire on him

We need Lugo and Matz back too. I think they'll give Jose till June. But I think they'll go with Wilmer and TJ there before bringing up Ahmed.

Good win, good to see Familia get the save. Tomorrows game will obviously be huge. We theoretically have the edge with the pitching, but we need to back it up with the hitting. 0-12+ from our 2-5 hitters won't due.

Hitting in Vegas shouldn't be seen as an automatic call up or they'd all be up right now. It'd be more worrisome if he wasn't hitting. Obviously the .400 clip is great, but let's see some of these power numbers go up before we rush him up. Like Wingo said Reyes is back and I wouldn't rush it with this team either.

I agree Vegas numbers should not be looked at, even the same way other AAA teams are viewed. The ball park is known for being small and boosting HR numbers. IMO it actually bodes well that he is hitting well WITHOUT power because that will translate better the the pro's than the warning track power Conforto was flaunting all of last year. The good part of that is it helps us develop better pitchers (apparently).

cabrera looks horrendous. They cannot continue to have him starting at SS...he might have the worst range in the entire league. He costs the team 2 or 3 outs a game with his limited range. Rosario is needed.

I haven't been watching all that closely, tbh. Still watching basketball.

Is it worse than last year? If so, then maybe they move Cab to 3B and Jose back over to SS. Terry and Sandy will be loyal to the vets.

Depending on Duda's health and how TJ does (he was huge yesterday) 1B has an opening with all the injuries.

One of our big issues this season is that our vets, our locker room guys, are the problems in the line up (Reyes, Cab, Grandy) Conforto, Bruce, Ces, even Rivera have been playing effectively but if everyone is healthy, we are basically forced to have ^^ in the line up.
