Nobody can match-up to GSW's extra gear. That GSW is worse with KD talk is BS.

Is Daryl Morey the consensus best GM in the league at this point?

Really admiring his recent work. 26th pick and getting to dump Brewer's contract for a lethal bench scorer in Lou Will at 7 mil per was awesome. One of the best contracts in the league. Also, a bit under the radar, Eric Gordon for 4/52 had to be one of the best value signings of last summer. If only we had a GM with similar acumen....

I saw a few of Goberts games and all of Embiids this year. My eye test sees Embiid as a more intimidating force as a rim protector but Gobert uses his length extremely well.

Im (crystal meth) high on Embiid if the man can stay healthy.

Still RC Buford followed by Pat Riley. Morey is extremely good though.

I hear you on Buford but idk if I'm putting Riley above him anymore. The Heatles for the most part fell into his lap and Miami is in a pretty bad spot right now.

I wouldn't go that far, pretty sure he was bordering on negative value 2 months ago. Funny how perceptions change.

Umm...bordering on negative value by whose measure? 2 months ago Lou was in the midst of a career year, averaging a hyper efficient 28 per 36 minutes on a 61% TS%. Literally balling out of his mind. There are basically 0 players in the league besides guys still their on rookie deals giving you that kind of production for 7 mil per. He was a coveted piece at the deadline for basically all the contenders.

Yup, I also have Morey as best GM. Impressed how he can have multiple rebuilds on the fly from Yao, to D12/harden to Harden+shooters.

Personally, I also find it interesting on how he'll try to beat the warriors by outshooting them. They have been my bet as the only team in the west to beat GSW. Not saying they can but they are the most likely IMO.

Biid can be elite on both ends which is very special.

Biid also seems to be more agile and athletic. Allowing him to cover more space and defend multiple players on single possession something valuable these days.

Nobody talks about it but will GSW bring back Iggy next season? Well, considering the bandwagon fans they are getting WORLDWIDE, I'd retain Iggy and possibly pay hefty penalties later..

P.S. My tinfoil hat gut feel says they are making a lot of vegas money.

Yet somehow Morey got him for Corey Brewer and a 28 pick? C'mon. Lou's TS% was a career high. It dropped back down basically to his career average in Houston.

That's why it was a great trade...and yeah, back to his career average of around 55%...which is still quite good. Lou has quietly developed into a very efficient scorer in the past 3-4 years.

I get the impression that Lou's reputation for being an inefficient offensive player is solely based on his 2pt FG%. Which is a pretty archaic method for formulating an opinion on him. His mid-30's three point percentage and 80% free throw shooting tell the full story. He's always been an efficient scorer and one of the guys that should have been appreciated way more earlier in his career.

I base it on his ballhoggery, his chuckerishness, and his utter lack of defense. Jamal Crawford types certainly have a place in the league, though. On championship level teams in short bursts as microwave offense.

Nothing is funnier than watching Marcus Smart brick wide open 3s.

This Celtics/Bulls series is like watching two 120 lb 15 year old nerds punch each other to death. Just a slopfest of mediocrity from top to bottom.

Bucks need a 3. Raps put Lowry on Giannis. What did Giannis do?

He drove for a 2.

Game over

I find it simply amazing that Rondo was/is the key to the Bulls beating the Celtics. And with him out all the Bulls hopes go out the window. You've got two young first round picks that can't even match 1/2 the productivity a 31 year old, some would say malcontent, that has bounced around the league for the last 2 years. And who was sitting on the bench for part of the season as a Bull.

Simply amazing.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)
