The Washington Wizards will try to close out their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks on Friday by replicating the effort put forth in three home games.

A lingering question is the lack of impact that Hawks center Dwight Howard has had on the series. The big-money free agent signee has been a non-factor in the fourth quarter of the playoffs. He has played a total of 16:32 in five games and produced four points and three rebounds.

Seven Hawks players scored in double-figures in Game 4 making Atlanta the first team in the NBA this postseason to have at least seven players score 10 or more points in the same game. … The Hawks have scored 100 or more points in all four games in the series.

John Wall (28.8 points, 10.0 assists) is one of four players averaging a point-assist double-double this postseason. (Along with Chris Paul, Russell Westbook and Rajon Rondo.)

All of those other top PGs listed are on the verge of being eliminated in the first round. Let's do the same to J Wall.

Shout out to this guy for pulling all these graphics together:

Unreal how much Gortat gets away with on the court. I just don't get how he can set a moving screen every possession and not once get called for an offensive foul.

The end was painful to watch. From Millsap getting hacked, to Gortat's moving screen, to the missed foul on the Prince dunk.

This was one of the most entertaining EC playoff games I've watched in years.

This series has been incredibly fun the last three games.

Dennis has found his niche and proven he was the superior choice between he and Teague.

Bud focused more on allowing his two best players to carry the load this game. They kept it close to the end with very little help.

The old adage about role players stepping up at home and struggling on the road is proving to be true.

I predicted a six game series at the start, so I'll stick with that.

This is the most proud I've been of this team in years. Win or lose.

Last night was so brutal to watch.
So many different runs and we ended so close.
GO HAWKS!!! Win the next game or stay home.

I think you misunderstood the title of that thread.

I was predicting YOU guys would strike back against us after two straight defeats.

We're the Ewoks. :)

Our Hawks are a 3 point favorite tonight.
I can only hope for the best and that a game seven happens.
Let's get the WIN!

5 Second Quarter turnovers from Bazemore.

I honestly think if Thabo plays instead of him all series we go through to round 2.

Bazemore, man...

He ain't good on offense. And there is a decent chance he's greatly overrated on defense, also.

Who looked at this cat and thought, 'CORE PLAYER--lock him up long term'? He's...not very good.

This team...sigh.

I miss Horford.

Good series. Much respect for effort and Schroder. I didn't like him b4 but he seems to be a good kid and a very good player. Future for him looks bright.
