Seems like you see this every year with teams trading up for a QB. Look at what it cost the Rams last year. Most of the times teams regret those choices big time.

They're being smart. Not many people payed attention last year, but Cody Kessler actually played really well as a rookie QB. You test him out another year, build the rest of the roster and if he doesn't work out, you trade for a QB or draft one next year.
