Best first round for me in a long time... Makes up when the Niners traded up and selected Anthony Fricken Davis instead of Earl Thomas.... and who'd have thunk... we can thank the Seahawks...

Great trade for both parties. Seattle can still get Kevin King or Sidney Jones. Or Cam Robinson
And we still can get Joe Mixon.

Nice. Saints took Ryan Ramczyk. He won't be a Seahawk.

Re: 2017 NFL DRAFT Thread
So, Seattle might end up with Cam Robinson in the 2nd round? Insane.

Re: 2017 NFL DRAFT Thread
I didn't think Foster would end up as a Niner 2 was too early to take him and I thought he'd go in the top 15-20... Solomon Thomas Im kind of meh on wish we could have traded back a bit further and got a few more picks... But I think hell be at least solid... and Foster.. just wow... Think Patrick Willis was the last big draft crush I had that the Niners drafted... I liked Bowman and Borland picks.. But Prior to that Earl Thomas went to the Hawks, Lacy to the Pack, ODB to the Giants.... Gurley to the Rams...

Panthers taking McCaffrey—like you said—still surprised me. It was an awful pick. Not sure what he offers over many of the talent still on the board at that pick.

That was fun
Two great picks IMO....
I there's no lingering health issues with Foster, those concern me more than other stuff that I'm aware of.

Re: 2017 NFL DRAFT Thread
Ramczyk's path to the NFL was one of the more interesting ones this year.
After high school he became a welder and didn't play football for a year and a half after that. He only played the one year of D1 and then had torn labrum (hip) surgery following the season. Couldn't work out at the Combine. His interviews were very important for him. He reportedly impressed teams by being excellent on the chalkboard when he met with teams which matched what coaches always said about him. He projects well to multiple schemes in the NFL. I love his hands. Plays with really heavy hands. Maybe the best punch this year.
