Drew pulled up gimpy half way down to first. With Turner on the 10 day DL, Difo will be getting a few starts.

After giving up 2 runs early Gio has looked much better. Home runs from Werth, Wieters & Murphy have been the difference.

STL 2
WSH 6

ESPN broadcast really stinks. They keep making small talk about some guys age in the booth & showing him with his cake.

Nats swept the Braves, but I'm wondering how they do in NY with Murphy, Werth & Drew injured. Turner is expected to return today but may not be in the lineup.

Mets lost 5 of their last 6 games and have some injuries too, first baseman Lucas Duda & his backup Wilmer Flores. Catcher Travis d'Arnaud could return to the lineup today.

DeGrom in three starts has a 1.89 ERA. In his last start he had 13 strikeouts.

I get a feeling it'll be up to the bullpen to hold and save a close one.

Yep, he's pretty much guaranteed to be a Yankee next season.

4 game series between NL division leaders
NATS 13-5 @ ROXS 13-6

- Colorado's bullpen is 5-0 with an NL-best 2.76 ERA.
-Charlie Blackmon has an eight-game hitting streak. During the streak he has been 10-for-31 (.323) with two doubles, two triples, three homers & nine RBIs.

Game 1
Hoping to get some runs early vs Tyler who has given up 4 or more runs in all his starts this year.

The key is Zim, if he can play 140+ games or so and be healthy throughout the season, our lineup would be so much better.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Nats go 9-1 on this road trip.

Gio with another good start goes 6 & 2/3 innings.

If Gio & Zim can keep this up it could be a season to remember.

Mets @Nats

3 game National East series starts tonight.

Nationals and Mets moving in different directions the last 10 games, Washington's 9-1 record & New York's 1-9. Nats can make an impression on NY this weekend, if they aren't hung over after 4 games in high altitude Colorado.

GO NATS !!
