None of those TEs, maybe except Butt?, will make it to the 3rd... I'd be shocked.

Got to trade up.

If we trade up for a god dang TE, I'll be extremely disappointed.

Wow. Completely forgot about JuJu Smith. Steal if he's still there in the 3rd.

Was a stupid ass signing to begin with.

Arguably the most senseless draft pick we made in the past 5 years. A freaking second round pick.

Big Ben has been vocal about needing a TE. Perhaps the Steelers can draft one of the talented guys in this year's draft and also trade for Vance as an insurance policy if such rookie is not developing fast enough. I'd be glad to get a 7th this year and a conditional 6th next year:

Vance McDonald - TE - 49ers

The 49ers are shopping TE Vance McDonald.

A carryover from ex-GM Trent Baalke, McDonald is one season into a five-year, $35 million extension. There's unlikely to be any interest in him as a middling veteran coming off injury. The 49ers owe McDonald $5.8 million guaranteed over the next two seasons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Buccaneers, Chargers and Jets have all reached out to the Packers about acquiring the No. 33 overall pick.

Rotoworld draft expert Josh Norris believes the Buccaneers are looking to add a running back while the Chargers and Jets are eyeing a quarterback at the top of the second round. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier that Green Bay would consider Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer at No. 33. It might be a smokescreen, but it's got the Jets and Chargers worried enough to try and trade up. The Bucs are likely targeting Florida State RB Dalvin Cook, who they considered taking at 19 overall before pivoting to Alabama TE O.J. Howard.

Do the Chargers go Webb just because he's a similar QB to Rivers in terms of style?

Sheldon Richardson - DL - Jets

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Jets have been "making calls" regarding a potential Sheldon Richardson trade.

The Jets are making a last-ditch effort to move Richardson, a player they've been unsuccessfully shopping all offseason. Richardson is a one-time Pro Bowler and a former Rookie of the Year but teams have been hesitant to give up a pick for him as he enters his walk year. This weekend might be the Jets' last chance to trade him.

Based on his play last year, Rivers has 3/4 good years left in him barring any injuries. Therefore they should think in a "win now" mentality. If I'm then I'd draft Malik's McDowell or Montravious Adams to play 5tech. Tim Williams / Derek Rivers / Carl Lawson to play OLB. That team is so closed but yet so far.

King has the versatility they like at that spot. He has experience playing 5 different spots in the secondary. Don't love his tackling at all.

They're still not a SB contender IMO until they get that elite back to take pressure of the passing game.

Thank goodness. I thought Seattle was going to get Cam Robinson. Granted I still think I'm gonna be disappointed when they pick.
