But what about all those who said they want Mahinmi? :D

He would have helped in this series but if you mean as a starter, kind of tough to do when you're made of glass.

What I hope to see is the Wizards score at least 30 in the third, this next quarter.

30+35=65 Washington
23+23=46 Atlanta

I love box scores. (TGW, that was for you. :) )

Seems to me if next quarter the Wizards score about 25 or 30; the Hawks cannot possibly win.

One of the biggest reasons that Wall and Oubre were able to swarm them for steals was because Morris played great defense in every pick and roll. They kept everything Infront of them. Dominant stuff

Brooks has done a good job managing the rotations leaving one starter with the reserves.

So far it's a perfect storm of things going right. KO with killer D. Kieff being smart and with 13 points 0 fouls on the road in ATL. Bogs +5 with a nice made 3. Jason Smith + 9 with only 2 fouls over 8-9 minutes. Way better than a foul a minute... Wall +22 Beal +21 ...

PHUKIN' Scott Brooks has dialed up the energy of the bench--A Satoransky on the court sighting!!!

The game ain't over til it's over. That said, the late Chick Hearn might be talkin' about Jello's jiggling. :)

Yes great rotations tonight, outside of wall and Jennings playing together for way too long in that stretch.

Said it last game thread and feel like repeating this: Morris has some Rasheed Wallace in him.

Dumb techs, yes, but dude can D up when properly motivated! He's also a good-sized stretch 4. Not NEARLY as good as Rasheed Wallace but he really reminds me in many ways. Like Sheed, he plays with a chip on his shoulder against referees as much as opponents.

Lead was 22 and Hawks score 7 straight.

"Danger. Danger. Warning, Will Robinson." Old heads? They'll get the reference.

Now, suddenly I'm thinking of Dennis Green saying, "We had 'em, and we let 'em off the hook!!!"

John killing momentum with dumb plays smh. He needs to develop a killer instinct when the team has a lead.

About the only comparison Morris has with his Rasheed is that they are both loose cannons. Wallace was one of the most talented frontcourt players we've ever had. Morris is just another guy...

Great call.

The problem I think is John kills with speed. That's young guy IMO. What he really needs for killer instinct is to take the time to kick the ball around and destroy the other team's will.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Salty cuz the Wizards are letting them back in? Don't blame you, 80s.

DID YOU SEE THE NEARLY? As in not NEARLY the player Wallace was?

I made a damned good analogy and you just didn't get it IMO. But I ain't mad at you. :D
